Today I purchased half a bow. Yes half a bow. I purchased a riser off the classifides for a bow I have no limbs for. I also do not have any plans to purchase limbs in the near future as I just purchased a new bow and im broke. What am I going to do with half a bow? :knothead:
....I'll help you out !!! You can send it to me so you don't have to look at it ... :)
Thats ok im sure it will find its way into some limbs sonner or later
What kind??
Acs CX metal riser. I have a 1pc thats new and i just love it. I sleep with it so I know when I get an entire 3 piece its going to be awesome.
Nice!!! It'll be worth waiting for. Between the Predators and the ACS bows I can assume you like speed. Are acs's your new favorite??

There equal.. I will have to break out the chrony this spring to make the final decision on the fastest but yes in order of importance for me is speed, accuracy, silence. Silence comes last because I can make anything quiet even if its not quiet out of the box. They both have their place. They are both super quiet, dead in the hand and super fast. They are 2 different animals for sure. Its like apples to oranges trying to choose between a 66" longbow and a 60" recurve. The lightness of the acs will be nice for hill country hunts.

HA HA
What kind of FPS can I expect my riser to propel those at? Speed of smell? Maybe I can duck tape a couple tree branches to the top and bottom and tie some bailing twine to them for a string till I can afford some limbs.
Peter,When we were young we would have that shooten arrows in no time. And it would have had duct tape on it for sure.
hell ya dont even need a bow to throw an arrow just a bit of string with a knot tied on one end then warp that end around the shaft trapping the knot under it then turn the other end around ya hand and hold the arrow 6 inches up from the point then let fly. works for me LOL!!!

I think the Graemlin is answering that question.
How about a big paper weight on your desk!
:bigsmyl:
That is what I did with mine until I had the funds to buy some limbs!!! :banghead:
That would be the most awesome paperweight in the office even if I was the only one who knew it. :archer:
Make sure you buy BOTH limbs at the same time :^)
