I have narrowed it down to ACS longbow or a Black Widow PCH for by new killin' stick. It will be about 52# @28" and 62" or 58" depending on which one is chosen. I have shot the ACS a good deal and love the way they feel and shoot, but I feel the same about BW. I plan on shooting carbon arrows at around 8.2 gpi. What do you think?
Buy a Morrison Dakota. By the way I have a carbon/foam core limbed one with snake skins on it on the classified page! lol!
I don't think you can go wrong with either - I bought one of each cause i wanted a longbow and a recurve.
Both 56" and both 57-58 @ 28"
Jer Bear
Well do you want light mass weight with 5-10 fps faster than anything else in that weight range or slightly more forgiving and a heavier mass weight?
I have owned about 7 widow's including PA V's MAIII's, TF's, and a few others. I like to keep a good selection of my favorite recurves and at least 1 really good longbow. My signature at the bottom should explain the rest. (as you can see the widows are all gone)
That being said if you offered me a PCH for free I wouldn't turn it down.
You cant go wrong with either bow you choose.
I have both and love them both the same.

i think yer gonna get others opinions of what you should do, and none of those opinions are gonna matter in the short or long run as it's
you that needs to make
your decision.
do yer research on the bowyers, the bow designs, the materials, the options, the workmanship and then decide if all the rap about projected performance is happening or hype.
try before you buy. if ya can't, yer gambling - no matter what anyone tells ya.
good luck! :wavey:
ACS and Widow are both top of the line bows, either wold be a good choice.

Are you talking about a Centaur Carbon Elite because I think thats the only bow thats close to 10fps faster then a Widow, even the Predator was only 4fps faster.
Both very different and great bows, and only you can decide. Get the bowyers to send you a demo to shoot for a week then you will know. And you can tell us.
I agree with Bjorn. Both great bows, but very different. Think about how you're going to use it. That should help you decide which is best for you.
