I have one in the ground now, but it's nothing like Dave's not even close.
Here are a few of mine. The drawings are done by a freind of mine. (http://i566.photobucket.com/albums/ss101/blackfeather48/P1010077-1.jpg) (http://i566.photobucket.com/albums/ss101/blackfeather48/P1010079.jpg) (http://i566.photobucket.com/albums/ss101/blackfeather48/P1010080.jpg)

This was a deer I killed in the south. He looked this way when I caped him out :)
4 point, those with the drawings look cool. Geno that bronzed skull is nice too. Nice bucks guys.
Here's my buck from the '08 season. Sorry the lighting isn't the greatest.

K.S.Trapper:
That thing is huge! Gotta love those double drop tines! Be honest now bow kill? and what did it score?
By the way I agree with the scull mounts becoming more popular simply because of the cost of head mounts. I shot an 11 pt. this year that is now a scull mount. The only down fall is the Wife won't let me hang em up anywhere!! I think I got 6 or 7 laying in the basement.
Tyee, Those are sheds and I scored them 240pts. :readit:
A rifle hunter shot the buck that fall near my house, He had 4 drops then and he scored around 250pts.
Tracy
I don't doubt your scoring. He's a beauty!
Jason, love the cedar wall base.
Here's something a little different (http://i807.photobucket.com/albums/yy358/stykbow/skull%20mount/skull%20mounts/skullmount002.jpg)
That *is* definitely a different - but effective - pedestal skull mount!
Thanks for sharin' STYKBOW!

Very nice mounts all.

Here are a few skull mounts that I have. The larger deer was found by my Dad while swathing a field in Saskatchewan. It still had a bit of velvet on it. The smaller deer was my 2008 harvest in Manitoba and the bear was my first big game harvest with a bow taken in the fall of 2006 in Manitoba. The bear skull was done by a taxidermist. I did both deer myself after reading the article "Cleaning Skulls...How I do it" by Gene Wensel in the Dec/Jan 2009 issue of Traditional Bowhunter Magazine. The deer were a ton of work but I am happy with how they turned out. It was a lot cheaper than paying a professional, you just need the time and can't be afraid to get your hands a bit dirty.

my brother done this (http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b242/hdc123/100_1562.jpg) it's called " The Deer Tree "
I was gonna say Jason W was my favorite until I saw stykbow67's - that is a very cool idea!!!
