could have happened in the beginning of September! Hope you recover well!
Oh man that is my fear realized. I messed my thumb up sometime this past summer. It doesn't hurt during normal activity, but if it bends backwards or I am shooting a narrow gripped bow, it hurts like the devil. I don't wanna go have it looked at because I'm afraid of the down time involved. But I know that I should because of the long run effects. Aaaaaahhhhh. Such is life. Good luck to you though Bob. May you have a fast recovery.
Bob, good luck with your surgery, 3-months isn't that long, do your therapy and 3-months will pass quickly. If you bought the May turkey tag you could be in good shape by then. Take care, Todd
good luck with your surgeory
I had two surgeries the last two years and the time will go fast. Just listen to the doc as you don't want to injure yourself shooting too early.
i feel your pain brother : i get to have shoulder surgery in 4 weeks and will not be able to shoot for awhile !!! hope yours goes well take care
Shoulder surgery after a accident at work, 7 pins and achors and rehab I was shooting in 5 months.
You can do it :bigsmyl:
Tracy
broken bow arm elbow, was shooting in 5-6 months.
do the therapy
Sorry to hear that Bob. It will all be over and you'll be back to shooting in no time. Good luck! Cade
probably see you around...I'm getting a valve job March 5. rick.
BUMMER!!I'd forget how to shoot if I was off for 3 mons.
Thanks guys. I agree that if you have to miss 3 months, this is a better time than late summer or fall. This will still give me over 4 months to get ready for hunting season. Bob
Bob,
Wish you luck and a speedy recovery !

I feel your pain! I'm sorry! I hope you have friends that will come over and shoot for you, I did! That and tradgang got me by.
I got you covered in my prayers for a quick and complete recovery.
God bless,Mudd
Anytime you are hurt and can't shoot is a bad time, but unless you are shooting inside, this is a preferable time to have off. I fell down at work late last August, wacked my wrist and missed all of early deer season. I even went so far as to buy a lighter poundage bow so I could start shooting sooner. It didn't happen fast enough, but I'm still enjoying the lighter poundage. Good luck on your recovery.
