As soon as I can figure out how to show photos, I will show a few of my knife sheaths.

Chris I use everything, when I clean out the hunten drawer I use what has sat for two long, you can make a great coat rack with them.
I hear ya, I couldnt help it, I made a key rack with some extra broken MFX classics I had lyin around. I cant even throw away those old broken arrows, they make good pens! SO thanks for the insperation! When the polyurethene is done drying and I finish gluein in my arrow pegs, I will take a pic and post it!

I had my friend who had done alot of birds pretty much standing right beside me helping me out when I did the grouse.
that is awesome, I can only imagine working with that type of skin. I heard they are really thin! I was thinkin of tryin a rabbit, but that skin is really hard to get too, you have to get off the membrane, and that is very difficult! Seriously that is a great lookin mount though!

cool stuff
I don't have a photo but one of my friends that passed away was honored by a real nice flower bouquet made from all the local clubs different fletched arrows. It was a very unique looking from all the different colors feathers, wood stains, and crestings.
I make my own TABS simple ones do me best. Do my own strings, arrows and some of my quivers. Cannot do a pic. Will learn how some day
Here's some Italian bacon, or "pancetta":
And here's the first knife I ever made. I call it the "California Hog Skinner" and I designed it for skinning a hanging hog (or deer, etc.) I'm trusting you folks - there's only three like it in the world (I have one, my brother has another, and Toby "BTH" the third) and I've considered patenting them they work so darned well!
that thing looks awesome, almost like a small machette, lol
This is a shadow box- about 2.5" deep. In it I placed heritage/tradition/memory stuff for my 21 year old son. The backboard is his first skinning board, the arrow head- his first trad. harvest arrow, a toad shooting arrow, turkey feathers are from his first bird, and all the pics are generations (4) of grand (great-great)fathers, uncles, dad (me), all with outdoor harvests/experiences. The color photos are him growing up with lots of hunting/trapping experiences in the outdoors. This is a valuable memory and tradition keeper for him. Lots of memories and tears for dad! What a treasure!!

Some really cool stuff on here!!! I'm amazed at the amount of talent on here! I'm gonna have to make me a few of the items I saw on here. Maybe I'll be able to add to the thread after my move. Thanks for sharing.

A quiver.....
http://tradgang.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=068434;p=1
Here is a back quiver I just finished tonight. I need to oil it up yet but at least its finished.
Its made from heavy 8 to 9oz veg tan leather. I came up with my own quick release system, its simple but works great so far. I hope to get it out with the bow this weekend and get pic's of it in action.
It still needs a few finishing touches, repaint the buckle and clip and mink oil.

Lookin good I didnt know vegitable tanned leather was so popular!
Lots of good looking homemade stuff one here. Lots of talent for sure!
I love seeing all the great stuff every one is making. I wish I had more tools and knowledge to make some of the stuff that is being done. Here is a sample of what I do.

Here is a few pictures of my first attempt at a neck knife sheath. I made it for my friend Ryan (Manitoba Stickfinger) as a thank you for all the help he has given me with hunting and traditional archery. It's nothing fancy but I was happy how it turned out and it should do the trick. The knife is a Timberline Mini Pitbull.

KSDan,
That is one of the most amazing things I have ever seen......not for what it is, but for what it represents. Your son will have something that he will cherish for the rest of his life....I'm sure he will pass it down to his sons as well.
Your post put a smile on my face. My hat's off to you sir.
I recently mounted this roe-buck head ...
I've been a taxidermist for over 10 years

Frenchy, That is nice looking. I like mounts like that, but Euro-mounts I like even better...
Heres a knife I back back in my teens out of an old buss saw blade. Dall sheep horn handle and bison leather sheath. Sure has skinned out a lot of critters ! (http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn261/farnorthfarmboy/DSCF0481.jpg)
Very nice work MUSKOKMAN!!!
MAY THE SPIRIT OF FRED BEAR GUIDE OUR ARROWS.
Here in TX we call that a cheater pipe...
That´s pretty tasteless, I´d say!

All real cool stuff. Finnished this quiver today .From two coyotes from last year . Can hold more than two dozen arrows . Keeps them pretty quiet.

I also made an arrow holder out of 3" PVC and a toilet flange. Don't have any pictures of it, but it works great.
