Title: What material do u use for skinny strings??

Ive been making b50 strings for a while and would like to start making skinny strings.What would be the best material for skinny strings for bows from 30 to 60 pounds?I make endless loop and flemish.Would it be good to pad them with b50??

as long as your bow can handle it, use any modern hmpe fiber, most are around the 100# tensile strength mark.  plenty of fibers and brands to choose!

fwiw, i use the hmpe strand fiber for padding, but i only use nylon for endless loop serving and bcy halo for center serving.

8125 is my first choice.  Materials with a good big of Vectran in them are popular for a lack of stretch, but they also often lack durability over the long haul--that's why you don't see any string materials that are pure Vectran.
