Got home from the archery practice around an hour ago and the interweb told me my
Toelke was finally at the post office :)
My first longbow!
A beautiful 60" Toelke Montana Classic Whip. 47# @ 27".
Macassar riser with what looks to be cocobolo overlays, topped with juniper limb veneers.
Also the leather, of which I know nothing about, except that it is brown.

Needless to say, I am very happy! The Toelkes really know their stuff.
Really smooth bow to shoot, no shock, slender and beautiful, and atm more accurate than I am!
Beautifull bow!
Nice arrow group too! :clapper:
Wow that is a beautiful bow!!
That is one great lookin bow!
Great lookin bow! Also pretty cool to hear from folks in Norway, Australia, and Andorra!
Svein, I'm glad you chose the Whip and she is a beauty but as you shoot her you will only become more hooked. A word of advice, resist the temptation to try one of Dan's D bows after a few more Whips, it is possible to end up with an arm load of bows, trust me.
That's what us Southern boys call a "snow angel"!!!
Enjoy!
 Good looking bow

Actually, I found this out in some other aspect.
I'm used to a 35# recurve, and shooting the whip was so much fun, I didn't even feel the weight difference.. until saturday evening.. I just picked up a hint of tendinitis as I have been shooting almost non stop since it came :p
Now i'm off archery for a week ^^ dang whimpy tendons :p
Very Nice!
  :clapper: :clapper:
