Title: trad only vs, normal carbon
Post by: okcaveman on February 08, 2010, 12:41:00 PM
I have been wondering, what is the difference, if any, in traditional only carbon arrows and normal carbon arrows such as the goldtip 55/75 I used Previously with my training wheels. Can i expect to shoot these same arrows accurately out of a 55# @28 recurve with a 30" draw?

The Traditional Only carbons are simply relabeled Beman ICS Classics, which were just ICS Camo Hunters with a fake woodgrain finish. Same shaft, different name.

A lot of folks here shoot Gold Tip shafts. They work fine.

Same carbon just added a woodgrain finsh. This finsh does add a grain or two per inch to the shaft but thats it.

No difference. It's just a label.
