I am needing to find a new glove and would love some suggestions...My ring finger is getting absolutely EAT up from the bow string...I'm starting to form a calas(think i spelled it right) but I am wanting something that has stiffer tips...
Right now i'm shooting just a neet glove that i bought at my local bow shop and it's fine on my other bows but I just acquired a 73lb bow...so now I'm needing something with a LOT harder finger tips...
I will really appreciate your guys help...

IMO the best glove available is the Big Shot by American Leathers. I have both the buffalo and elk hide Big Shots. I shoot constantly and haven't had a problem with sore fingers or callouses since I switched to Big Shots.
Those wimpy little Neet gloves should be against the law...
get yourself an american leather big shot and your fingers will be saved.
when you order, get a couple in different sizes so you can pick which one fits best, and then exchange the other one for the same size as you kept. now you have a backup glove as well.
If it's you ring finger that's sore, you may have too high of an elbow at full draw.
2nd on the Big Shot, don't think you can go wrong with one of these.
I have always thought about getting a big shot...they look like really good gloves...
What do you they use for the finger overlays? It looks like nylon webbing...
Definatly the big shot, the nylon has saved me several times before, I have shot fish out on the creek, and after not thinking reached in to grab it and got the glove soaked, I continued to shoot and was still fine. It stiffened like leather will afterwards but it is still a fantastic glove. I have had mine for two years now, and I shoot almost everyday!
Kinda hard to get use to at first but IMHO the big shot's are the best. Jason
I use the Same Old Style Glove as Byron Ferguson and Howard Hill Use or used!! Cordovan Tipped and The Straps Wont Bake your Whole Hand!!
I use a NEET brand 3-finger palm glove.
I have been messing with a super glove. Very slick cordovan tips. I want to try a Big Shot.
You need to set it up to at least cordovan leather reinforced tips. Check out the super glove. I'd also like to try a big shot. I currently use the dura-glove with a 54# bow and love it.
I'm with smallwood. You are putting way too much pressure on that finger. I had a similar problem because of a short bow and a little finger pinch. Adjust your grip on the string so there is less being done by the ring finger.

Thanks for the info smallwood and Lechwe...I am going to try the big shot glove...how do they run? I shoot a large or XL glove normally...Do thy run small, big, or fit right?
Also if anybody has one for sale let me know and I'll take it off your hands...

For 65# and up, I second the recommendation of a cordovan leather glove. They are extremely durable and really spare the fingers. For 60 pounds and less, I really like the Duraglove from 3Rivers. They wear like iron. I was wearing out two seal skin gloves a year and tried a Duraglove. I am shooting the same one 2 years later. It seems to me to have a very slick realease.
