Hey everyone! When I mentioned this spring that my bear hunt was on video I was surprised to see how many PM's I got about seeing it. That said, I am very ignorant of computers and how to post things so got my cousin to edit it for me. He's finished the job and will likely post it on this thread today. It's a self video so Bear with me...Ha..Ha
Well, I'll be anxiously awaitng this one since I am stuck on the couch all day with the flu!
Here it is...I hope the link works as I'm trying out a new hosting site and this is the first time posting a link from there...so Bear with me as well ;)

Seems to work at first glance. Let me know if there's any issues.

Do you need investors for your film company?

Ryan...great video bud. I enjoyed that as much as any I have seen. That was indeed a beautiful animal. Congrats to you!!!
REALLY NICE!
Well done bud! :notworthy:
That was GREAT!
Hey, where'd you get that touque? :D
You need to get a bunch of those and put your outfitter logo on them if you end up starting that up.
Great video of your hunt. You showed it so well. I don't think I'd of crossed that creek twice just to set up my camera. Looks pretty chilly! I've been hunting bears in New Brunswick the last few years but always dreamed of shooting a color phase. Fantastic looking bear!
THANKS FOR SHARING
GLENN
Thanks guys...and especially to my cousin Jeremi(Predator 1). His video editing skills are awesome!

Manitoba is a great place to bear hunt since it has so many color phase bears.

Bears are very exciting to hunt and taste good too! That bear was pretty fat for a spring bear!
Good luck in the future. Hope you take us along with you again!

That was exciting. Congrats and great job with the filming.
How far into the woods were you, and how did you get that beast out?
Great effort, great footage, great shot, great bear! that's a lot of Great's for one bear hunt!
Great job.
Michael

Jack
great bear, great video!
Top stuff Ryan
really enjoyed the video, that's some awesome footage. gotta go get my sunglasses, the glare from your legs has blinded me. jp
Great video, thanks for putting that up.
AWESOME video of your bear hunt. Congratulations on a great bear. Nice video work. Thanks for sharing.
Outstanding! :clapper: Thanks for sharing.
How'd I get the beast out???
I can actually get my quad right up into the creek but not up the far bank. That's how I bait it. I use corn, oats, and grease and drive the quad into the creek until the front rack touches the bank then step off the front rack to the creek bank and unload the bait. The only problem is that after it's unloaded it likes to float away!
That was a great bear and video. Thanks for posting this for all to see.
Awesome video and great bear!! :clapper:
That is a fantastic bear and the video was very nicely done!
Beautiful bear and video was very well done.
Outstanding video Ryan...more to come this spring...right??? :notworthy:
Nice video and super beautiful bear.I love those bears.Appreciate you sharing that.Hope to see more this year.
Great video, great bear, great shot. So where can I get on that list for your new venture should it come to light?
Great video...gets my heart pumping for my first bear hunt this spring.
Ryan that was outstanding. I know about wading those rivers. Did you get your bait across the river no problem? What a great bear, but how'd you pass the first one? It looked pretty good as well.
Nice bear and excellent video! Loved the beaver and fisher.
Had one "incident" with the quad floating away but got it out and running again. The wildlife at that bait is amazing and the # of huge bears there is as well. Believe it or not, I've shot many bears bigger than that one at that very bait. The first bear will be a bruiser eventually but is not filled out yet....kinda young looking! Thanks again for all the kind words. Does everyone have cabin fever??? Seems like it was a good time to post a vid?
What a great video, very well done! A big hand on such a fine bear too!
That was awesome! Great video and commentary too boot. The bear has a beautiful coat and that white blaze on his chest makes him that much better. Way to go and congrats.

Brings back many memories of my old Bear Hunts!!

 :clapper:
Absolutely excellent video! Great editing also!
Perfect video. If I may add, edit in your archery setup for those curious about your equiptment. What bow are you using, draw weight, arrow, broadhead, total arrow weight, your draw length. Congrats on a really awesome film
Absolutely one of the best videos I have seen.
Congrats
Thanks for the cold walk of death!!!LOL!! Great video!!!
EXCELLENT,

Super job, both on the video and on a perfect shot on a great bear.
great video, fantastic shot, congrats on a very nice bear!
Great Hunt. Thanks for sharing. BTW, What bow are you shooting and tell us about your arrows.
Mike
Thanks for taking me along.
Hey Guys. This has to be the most supportive group of people I've ever met. The response to my vid has been overwhelming to say the least.
As far as my bow/arrow set-up:....The bow is a Cari-bow Wolverine 58" hybrid that's 53#@28". I only draw 27" so the bow is around 50#'s at my draw. The arrow is a CX150 with 100 grain brass inserts and a 225gr. Tusker Concord sharpened by Ron at KME with a single bevel and tanto tip. The complete arrow gives me 23% EFOC with the total arrow weight being 635 grains. All that weight up front on a 150 seems weak but that's what the bow liked! As you can see...they fly like darts but are not very fast. 160 fps cut through that bear very easily.
Hope that helps...Ryan
Congrats, again for a nice video and a good hunt.

I watched a lot of hunting shows this year and your video is by far the best. Great job and thanks for sharing. >>> RAY
Good job man that was an awesome video. Thanks for taking us along for the hunt.
Great looking bear and the video was very nice as well.
Hello Ryan, what a awsome video, one of the best i've ever saw.
it's quiet, simple, we can feel you emotion and your passion
hunting with traditionnal equipement is a very hard school of patience and humility, your video give me a good "kick" to keep going with a stick in the wood
wonderful nice looking bear as well !
just thanks you !
Double
Ryan is as good a fella as a bowhunter and guide :campfire:
David....sorry I didn't see this earlier! Thanks for the kind words! Glad to hear that my passion motivated you, it means alot to me.
Stay tuned for this springs video...should be exciting.
Thanks again guys....Ryan
thank you so much for sharing that, and guys bringing this back up. i hadn't seen it before. really great video i enjoyed it!
Glad this one got kicked back up to the top! EXCELLENT!
123 more days Ryan.... Tic Toc, tic tok...
Man, them sure were some white ol' legs. I'll bring you up some tan-in-a-can if I can get it through customs.
Beautiful bear
Ryan~ You are an absolute natural on video, great job. Bear were designed to be chased with stickbows! A chocolate is my absolute dream bear. Been lucky enough to go after bear three times, went all out to Manitoba once with the wife. Shot an ornery little boar that wouldn't leave me alone:) All three I have got are blacks. Maybe someday I will be blessed with another trip there- enjoy your land and keep the videos coming!!
THIS is what all videos should be,my friend your love for hunting and archery is exemplified in its purest form,I've watched a lot of videos in my day,but none better.
Not only does it show your talent ,it also expresses you as a person.I would be truly honored to some day share a campfire my friend.
Keep it going,I wish the younger hunting generation had more Ryans.
Awesome job on video, especially self video. nice bear. great Job. What equipment did you use for filming?
I think that's the third time I've seen it. Didn't mind watching it again though. Great video.
Awesome!
Really liked the video, will have to keep in mind for a bear hunt one day.
Thanks for all the compliments guys...especially this long after the thread was started.
The camera was a simple mini DV $300 family camera with a gorilla video arm($35). I now have an SD card camera but may upgrade to a better one...we'll see! All this talk and another TG'er have planted the seed for a Trad DVD. You know...the no frills couple of guys with stickbows, no advertising type DVD?...Ryan
that was sweeeeet !!!!
Your Bearness--A video from you would be first class. Show a lot of the work involved...why you put the bait where it is, being flexible with the wind, sharpening broadheads and your shooting form. Tell the whole story, you have much to tell.
Can't wait to get back.
BTW, the longbow checkering is choice, you are going to want that ;)
Congratulations on a great bear and hunt. Nice job video taping too. My wife seemed to like the creek crossing scene the best. Hmmm, no more Tradgang for her. :readit:
Awsome bear and great video.
