I have personally not, but that defiantly doesnt mean anyone has never tried it. I am actually excited to give it a whirl, was impressed by my first 6 fletching arrow. But it wasnt the same as a flu flu, it went a bit faster. SO I decided to go for it, and made my first ever 8 fletching arrow!

the pictures are terrible, but you can get the main vibe from them. It looks sweet, the true test will be when I give it a shot tommorrow! Sometime inbetween all the shoveling, and tractor snow removal!
Will it work like a flu flu.
looks like yer havin' some fun, chris! :D

Cabin fever at it's best!(LOL) :campfire:
Let us know how it flies. Looks great.
So much for a 36pk of feathers doing a dozen arrows !!!!!!!
...even if five wear off ..you still have three !!! :) Kind of reminds me of when I was knee high and shot a red bird with a old dime store arrow. It slid all the way down the shaft ...hmmmmm:0
With the price of feathers these days I will stick with 3..
Man that's one pricey arrow, If I missed with it I would spend all day tracking it. LOL.
Looks cool, let us know how you like it!
With those helicals, that sucker looks like it would spin like crazy! :scared:
I made up some 6 fletch arrows like that a few years ago for tree rats. They flow great and You get a nice view of a ball flying to the target.

It's like a torpedo arrow!......A torparrow! =0)
Nope,I havn't seen that before,,,but you sure won't have any problems seeing it.
Cool arrow fer sure.
Made some of those last year before I found tradgang, and all of the interesting people in here. They are really interesting out of a wheelie bow!!! I haven't tried one with my trad gear yet, maybe soon though.
I shoot 6's quite a lot, haven't tried the 8's yet.
Keep us posted.
You can use three, four inch, full height feathers, and get the same resistance at a smaller price. Cheap....I mean frugal guys like me, opt for less feathers for the same purpose. 8^).
That's awesome! ( LOL! )
sorry guys spent ALLL day removing the thy high snow in the neighborhood, I will definatly wade out and try them tommorrow!
