Did Black Swan quit building their one piece longbows ? I did not see them on their site. Only saw the takedows.. I don't care for the T/D but loved their one piece
He's still building the classic for sure. I don't know about the rest of the lineup. I'd like to have a one piece classic.
Contact Vermoster13 he will know.
I have a friend who just traded for a one piece longbow so I went off to their site so I could see a picture of what he got. The only place I found a picture of anything that wasn't a take-down was under the tab labeled "Testing".
After I (with a lot of help) got my computer to receive pictures again,I got to look at his bow.
I was shocked to see that it wasn't black..lol It was however, a very beautiful bow!
I think Butch should post a picture of it on here. Rag on him folks!!!..lol
God bless,Mudd
He still makes the one piece bows.
Don't have many pics. Sure am happy with the way it shoots. Draws smooth, quiet & fast. Best of all, it shoots were you look.

I just bought a one piece from a fellow Tradganger here and am waiting to give it a try. I am thinking it will be my main bow. If only the rains would stop. Probably bout June...
Spoke to Arvid, the 1 piece bows will be added back to the site once he gets a few new ones built for pics. He is going to be doing the 1 piece with exotic handles now and will soon also have a three piece exotic wood handled riser that will use the same limbs as the metal risers. The wood risers will only be in back mount though to keep them strong enough for the limbs.
I've got a one-piece 60# @ 28" if your need one. I've got to pay for my newest addition.

Wow that Arvid never stops, just wish he would make a true ILF metal riser.
You can get ILF limbs from him.
Thanks guys... They are truly a beautiful bow.
vermonster13... are they available for order yet ? Or are they redesigning them ? Do you happen to know when they will be available for order again ?
I remember looking at them about 3yrs ago and did not have the cash for one. And now I do.
You can order one today. 520-241-3655 give Arvid a ring, your bow will even be featured on the web page for the 1 piece.
David, is that the reason Arvid is doing the 2 mounting points on the metal risers now is for the strength? I wish I would have had the money to get a old style low wrist front mount single bolt. Flint

Dave I think you should get a three piece TD wood riser from Arvid...in med grip...you know...for testing... :goldtooth:
I pretty much steered him to the double bolt.
Just received my 'new to me' Black Swan hybrid and it is great, but costly. It puts my arrows right through my target bag so now I have to re-fletch some arrows and get a new target. It is fast!
Greg, we need some pictures. Flint
Wish I could shoot a bow as well as I can a camera. Here are a few pics.

Greg, Congratulations on a fine looking bow that shoots for you. I'm curious if it feels its weight? I mean when a drew the 55# MOAB I had to ask if the owner had scaled the bow. The perceived draw weight was more like 45 lbs. Kinda like the "windchill" factor..lol that is real vs. what it feels like.
God bless,Mudd
I don't have a bow scale and it might be that the overall bow mass weight is light, but it does draw smooth and seems like a 45# bow. I shoot a deliberate style and usually hold the bow at draw for a few seconds. I shake less with this bow. Of course I have only shot it for 10 minutes. And I don't know what the actual weight is. I only know what it is marked.
I really like that bow. Bet she is fast.
Going target shopping today Greg? ;)
I have a Black Swan hybrid that I actually bought from Vermonster couple years ago. What a bow.
It's only 43 @ 27, and I was (was) going to give it to my daughter when she gets a little older, but she may have to get something different now.
I have scaled mine, and it's right on the money, and 46 pounds at my 28 inch draw, plus it shoots a 525 grain arrow at a measure 180 fps.....not bad for 46 pounds.......
I still can't believe that it shot through my target. The arrows fly like darts and hit with authority. I am almost convinced to part with my Adcock ACS-CX.
