I need to attend a class near Tulsa so I can put in for pref. points in Colo. Trouble is I'll be on military duty in March when the ones close to me are held.
Does anyone know of one that is not listed on the wildlife department webpage yet?
Hey Jim
You can do the Oklahoma course online at the department's web site. I haven't looked yet but it's easy to find.
just looked. No homestudies near Tulsa in March. You have to take the test in person. There is a class March 8-9 in Broken Arrow.
look here:

I'll be on military duty from the 3rd till the 20th of March.
you might check into your milatery stuff and see if you have to have it or not i think there might be an exemtion for enlisted men and women but you will have to dig for it ask your CO he might know
I'm exempt in Oklahoma but I'm pretty sure that I need it in Colo.
Just talked to a lady at the wildlife dept. in Jenks. If you are exempt in Oklahoma, you can take the online course, print of all the quizes, take it to them and they will award you with a course completion.
do you have a bass pro shops near you? the bass pro near me offers this class
Yes but not till after I need it. i have a deadline for Colorado prefrence points. You have to have a hunters safety course certificate in order to apply.
Call your local game warden, alot of the time they will work with you to do a one on one course in situations like these.
If you are exempt, you can take the online course, print it off and take it to a wildlife headquarters. They issued my hunters safty card today.
