Been a wheelbow shooter for 20 years till my 20 yr old son bought a Mamba, started helping him figure it out and man I had to have one. I felt like a kid at Christmas waiting on the UPS guy to deliver my Martin Hunter, got it yesterday and got it tuned today. Just about everything I know about traditional shooting (which aint much) I learned from this sight. Great job guys!!
The more you shoot and learn the more your gonna love it. Welcome aboard.
You will never want to shoot wheel bows again, i promise.
Congrats to you and your son on the new bows..Enjoy the traditional experience..Mike

Its gonna cost me though, now my other 2 sons "need" one. Money well spent in my opinion, just hope the wife sees it that way. Ha

I was starting back into archery after a long time off (wheelie back then) and when I checked in the shops all I could find was compounds! Felt more like I was shooting a firearm than a bow. Found this site, bought a used bow from a member, got my OWN bow, and love every shot.
Just FEELS natural. :wavey: :wavey:
How cool is this. Father and sons, traditional bows. I love it! Enjoy the journey. Welcome your family to ours.

You're gonna love it!, I shot both wheel bow and stick bow for years, then I finally took the leap and got rid of the wheels, and haven't looked back. I have so much more fun shooting, hunting, you name it.
Welcome to the family. We're all addicted, all a little different, but we have fun doing it. Have fun.
Welcome aboard! I'm a recent convert myself, and so far not an ounce of regret.
Hey trick, I made a deal with my 19 year old son where I will pull his arrows for as long as he wants to shoot in our backyard range. All he has to do is pick up his bow and start flinging arrows, and some times now when he breaks away from the demands of girls, gasoline and college, he takes me up on it. Hard to put it in words, but the best bow and arrow times I have right now are watching him stack arrows. Sure makes me smile. Get all your family (the Mrs. too!) shooting these trad bows, and you will have some great quality family time together. Welcome
Aw... you went and done it! No turning back ya know!....Now...get ready for the fun to begin.... you've been denied for too long.
Welcome!
People will tout their custom models with big grins on their face, but you can't do any better than a Martin (Howatt) Hunter for a top line hunting bow.
