Yahoo! Welcome to tradgang. Its nice to see something started by Mr. Hoyt here. I had the pleasure of sharing some time with Mr. Hoyt and even got to shoot from the same station with him in "Missouri's Show-Me Games".
Toot!.. Toot!.. I came away with the silver medal that year. That was after a shoot off for the gold and my nerves got the better of me.
God bless,Mudd
Good luck and welcome to Jim and Sandra . Good people to do business with .
Mudd...that is one great memory you have there ......
Ben
Jim and Sandra, Welcome to the Gang. I have had the pleasure of spending some campfire time with the Belchers as well as some time in the SKY shop. Better people you will not meet. IF we can get Jim to post he is a wealth of Info. Great news.
Hey Jim & Sandra!! Great seeing you at the show. Can't wait to see more of your bows. Looking forward to shooting one soon.

Some great looking bows with some excellent options!
Great people at Sky,I got in early and now have a SKY-ILF longbow and lovin it Thanks guys for professional, prompt sevice.cheers Pete in Tasmania.
thats great!! the sky rouge was my first ever bow i bought myself.it was 63" 50#@28 , got the bow ,grabbed some arrows and won my first 3-d shoot with that bow.wish i had that one back.wonder if he is gonna make that bow again , it was a highly r/d bow,and shot great.
I won a Sky bow in a raffle once. Can't say I can remember much about it. I was walking on the darkside when I won it and didn't know spit about traditional archery.
I failed to mention Mrs. Hoyt in myearlier post. She was a really fine lady and a pretty darn good shot too! If I remember correctly she won the gold in the ladies division at the Show-Me Games.
God bless,Mudd
Boy how long have some folks been waiting to hear Sky alive and well and sponsoring.
Since returning to shooting recurves it's bugged me that Mat Mc did nothing with the line. I'm glad he did a good thing and sold to someone who will further it along. Best of wishes to the Belchers. Thanks for breathing new life into the line!
got a look at all of Jim new bows this weekend top guality plus grate people
Is Jim going to reintroduce the one piece Sky Eagle recurve. Gosh....that was a sweet bow.
I was just on their site and looked at some impressing vidoes of Jim and his bows. Great looking and very fast and super quiet. Welcome aboard.
Possum
I got to meet him at the IBO shoot and he had some very nice bows.
Good to meet ya Jim & Sandra! Welcome to Tradgang!
The Mat Mc couldn't support it because it would eat up his bread and butter. With all of the money they spend every year on advertising and not once did you see anything about Sky.
To the Belchers thank you for the sponsorship and good luck with the brand. Shoot for the sky.
Welcome great looking bows.
You won't meet any better folks than Jim and Sandra!
Welcome! and Thanks!!
I saw a boy shooting one of the Sky ILF type recurve bows at K-zoo and it was fast as greased lightning! It was definitely the fastest bow I saw.
Jim is a great guy to deal with plus he knows what he's talking about! His 15" ILF riser was the nicest one I shot at Kalamazoo.
A great sponser.
It is honour to have you on board.
gotta get this back up top. MR. EARL started something good ,im glad to see sky archery is back!!wish you the best of luck.
soon as i have the funds im buying me another rouge longbow.
Okay....I see the Sky Eagle is now the Eagle XR. Sweet.
Good luck to the Belcher's with their purchase of Sky Archery. Jim's a good man with a vast amount of archery experience. Of course, Sandra is the one that keeps the wheels from falling off. Welcome aboard.
They don't come any finer, and glad to see the Sky name under the control of wonderful people! Jim and Sandra have a great vision for the future of Sky and the perfect people to take it there!
I can't thank them enough for all they have done to help me. :notworthy: :clapper:
I hope to talk the wife into letting me order my first brand new bow for my 30th birthday, I think a sky Rouge will compliment my Sky trophies nicely.
It's good to know that Sky is in good hands. I once got a Sky recurve through a local dealer. I insisted that Earl and his wife signed the bow, and they both did. I was pleased.
Good luck Jim and Sandy! Look forward to seeing you later on.
All the best to you, Jim and Sandra and thanks for carrying the Sky banner. Earl Hoyt was a true archery genius and it is great that his legacy continues.
V I Archer said, "I hope to talk the wife into letting me order my first brand new bow for my 30th birthday, I think a sky Rouge will compliment my Sky trophies nicely."
She can probably get Sky Rouge at the cosmetics counter at Walmart. :bigsmyl: :biglaugh: I would opt for the Sky Rogue.
Sorry....couldn't help myself. It's a vice.
Jim had the Sky Hawk at K'zoo too. Looks a little different than my original but it shot REAL nice. It was only 58", would like to shoot a 62", that would be a sweet one. The limbs are off the original forms.
Eric
Well played Mr. Stout :notworthy:
