I'm trying to decide which one i should get to sharpen my heads...
I watched the video on their website and it looked like the knife sharpner worked GREAT...but i have heard that you can get broadheads SCARY sharp with the broadhead sharpner and it is VERY simple...
So my question is which one am I going to be able to get my broadheads the SHARPEST and do it so simple there's no way i can jack it up...never really been good at sharpening stuff!! lol...
Thanks,
Coty
I have the knife sharpener. The reason I went with that choice is because most of my broadheads are glued to woodies. The knife sharpener works great for broadheads attached to arrows. But if I was primarily interested in sharpening screw-in broadheads that could be detached from the arrow during the sharpening process, I'd go with the broadhead sharpener.
Hope this helps.
Thanks Rooselk...I should have posted that up as well...I use aluminum arrows so they will all be screw in heads...I just like aluminums better...lol...
Listen to Rooselk!
The Knife sharpener You would have 1 sharpener for 2 different jobs, Knives and BH's. The broad head sharpener is make for BH'S, but you could do Knives, If they are small Knives.
Both will get BH's shaven sharp in no time at all. They are both the best sharpener out on the market Today. IMOA.
i seen both at kalamazoo and the knife sharpener is more versitile and still simple to use and looks safer to use .....i would have bought won but used all my "wife" tokens on a bow that i did not plan on buying....oops
the kme knife sharpener can do it all.
I just picked up one of each at the expo. Can't wait to get home and try them out. If I were going to just pick one, it would have been the knife sharpener. Looks like it should do it all.
Coty, Thanks for your interest in the KME line of products. I'll try to re-assure you that the BH sharpener is very simple to use and it is faster for sharpening broadheads. The knife sharpener is more versatile but it cannot do bleeders or replaceable blades like the broadhead sharpener can do. Give us a call if you have any more questions. Always here to help you.
Brian, It was a pleasure meeting you at the Expo. You're all set now to sharpen everything. Thanks for stopping by.
Thanks Jake...I will only be using it for Two blade heads and Knives so I have decided to go with the knife sharpner...It seems more logical to have something that can do everythin I just figured that the Broadhead sharpner was fool proof and I need something like that...
I have watched all of your videos and it seems pretty simple...
I'll let you know how it goes!!
Thanks,
Coty
If you buy either one you will like it so much that you will end up buying the other one too.
Go ahead and order both, you will be glad you did.
