Post by: Robert Honaker on January 31, 2010, 12:08:00 AM
Been thinkin about tryin some woodies.

Are wood arrow charts more accurate for trad bows than aluminum and carbon spine charts?

I'm thinkin 65/70 for my 54@29  Wapiti with dacron and 150gr BH...what do you think?
Too heavy?

I have some charts on my website.  They will get you very close to where you need to be.

Get test kit C from 3rivers and try them.

If your drawn 29" You would need 30"arrows and using 150 grn points. I would think 75-80 shafts would be closer to the ones needed.

add 5-10# for recurve/RF-DF bow, 5" for every Inch over 28" and 5# for point weight over 125 grn
