O man I've started getting my thunder chicken itch a couple days ago and it's already driving me insane!!!
Nice bird man hopefully I can get a bird this year!
cool, congrats
Trad birds are a short list. Well done. Nice rig. What kind of quiver?
Congrats nice Thunder Chicken, what type of bow and broadhead was used?
O sorry didn't mention the details was more concerned to see if I could get the picture posted.
Quiver is an old compound quiver I disassembled and turnned into a hip quiver, was to cheap to buy a new one.
Bow is an Assenheimer 1991 hand-me down, 66"68#@30. arrows at that time were GT5575 with 50 grain brass inserts and broad heads were Magnus I.
Bird was at fifteen yards quartering away. Put the broadhead under his right wing and he went ten yards and tipped over. Out of a double bull blind.
Actually have the video aswell but it's on an older video camera and haven't been able to convert it to digital.
Congrats! Difficult Critter to kill with a Gun,but, with a Bow,my hat's off to ya!!
