Came across a 58" 1 piece and was really impressed. I offered up one of my Silvertip t/d curves to try and entice someone to trade there 60" 1 piece--No such luck.

I happened to stumble across this 60" 1 piece Silvertip. I hope traveling with a 1 piece to Elk country is not too much trouble because I think I just found my hunting companion :D --The simplicity of a 1 piece and the lines it has to offer are simply stunning to me--And boy do they shoot. My first trad robinhood came a few weeks back with my 58"--The third arrow out of this 60" produced another--The fine smell of fresh cut cedar :) Thanks Mike!

OMG! That is a beauty!
Man o Man.....that is a dandy
Wow! :notworthy:
That 60" is a beauty !
very nice- they make great bows.
Wow!!
Nice, very nice!!
For those who like to shoot a recurve, you owe it to yourself to wrap your hands around a 1 piece Silvertip!
nice bows kevin!! what are the woods and/or weights of the bows?? the grip on the 60" looks very comfortable (like most Tips)
sharp ;)
Mike,
The 58" bow is rosewood dymondwood with juniper veneers, antler tips and on the front of the riser. The 60" bow is Cocobolo with a chechen accent stripe and camphor burl veneers with Kudu tips. The grips on both scream "Silvertip" ! I like them :)
Simply georgeous! :clapper:
awesome
Man that coco is some good lookin' wood!
Now I'm jealous, I thought I had the prettiest one piece Silvertip. Man is that a beauty, congrats Kevin!!
A bunch of us, let's see....how do I want to put this...."ol' timers"...grew up with nothing but one piece bows. Mostly Fred's bows. Along with Herters, etc. etc. I can't remember the first time I saw a take-down (must be a senior moment).
Nostalgia aspect aside, there is nothing more soothing to my eyes than a simple, graceful one piece.
I have one of Dale Dye's one piece bows that he built in 1986. Can't think of any reason that it will ever leave my possession.....at least until I'm gone!
BTW - saying that the 60" Silvertip is stunning is an understatement. Since it shoots as good as it looks, I can see why it's your favorite. Best of luck to ya if you decide to take it for a tour of elk country.
Schafers are beauts! Good buy!
Nice looking bow! ;) Those Silvertips are beautiful hey...
Very nice!!
Very nice. I, too, always wanted a one piece Silvertip.
what a beaut, let me know if you decide to sell.
Sweet!
Nothing like the grip on a silvertip.

Tough to beat a Silvertip! Great looking specimen you have there.(Like there's a such thing as a bad one)
Thanks for sharing those! I've got an order for a one-piece bubbling away; it should be here by August or September, in time for some last piggy hunts before the next wet.
That grip is amazing!
Very nice
SHARP BOW!! :clapper:
'Tips are awesome. I love mine!
Gotta love the silvertip's! Jason
