They are great bows to say the least, especially if you like bows witht he limbs mounted on the back.  I own a habu recurve and recently a habu vyperkhan.  My friend had a death adder, and when he got out of archery he sold it.  I really wish I had bought it from him.  Chris Cox is not taking orders for the death adder right now, so getting a new one is not an option.  If I were you, I would not hesitate to trade for it.  Those bows are very easy to sell, and rarely stay in the classifieds for long.

I have owned a Death Adder and Vyperkhan. They were both extremely nice bows and shot very well. I don't think you can go wrong with a Habu. Good luck on the trade.

Do the limbs interchange freely from a Death Adder to a Vyperkhan?

As far as limbs interchanging, no you will not be able to interchange limbs from a death adder to a vyperkhan. Chris told me the other day though, that all of the vyperkhan limbs from...I wanna say 2004 and on...will interchange.  He told me that he feels he now has the handle perfected and will probably not change it again. If you buy a used Death Adder, you may be able to have him build you a new set of limbs if you so desire, but please don't quote me on that one. Chris is beyond the point of being a perfectionist.  He does not put something out for customers unless he knows it is as good as it gets. Alot of this is probably due to his engineering background.
