Strung her up, set nock, put a couple string leeches on the string, and well I guess the pictures tell the story.I asked Vince to build this one for me. He never did Polish Ebony OR Black Glass and it has a fairly new to Vince limb core. I'll have to take some more pictures. The arrows are Beman 500's cut to 28"s with 210 gn and 300 gn heads.. There's also 3- 50 year growth nock tapered POC's I received from Suzanne St. Charles as a test kit. They are 53#,57# and 63# with 125 gn heads. Seems like this bow liked them all. She's 64"s and 50#'s @ my 27" draw. Fast, quiet, no handshock and very forgiving. The grip came out perfect for me. The man sure knows how to build longbows.
Oh no I can't see the pic.

I see it. Looks real good man.
Nice! Can you tell it is any faster, quieter than one of his standard beauties?
As quiet if not quieter and yes it seems quicker. Going to put a SBD string on her and call the Fire Department.
Yeh can't go wrong with those Mohawk's.
Nice!
Don't look now somebody's been shooting arrows at your bow!!!

See it now STiffrod...real pretty, good luck with it. maybe next month I'll run into you and I can run a few arrows off it...
that poor tree behind the target haha sorry couldn't help but notice the missing bark.
Yeah that tree has been hammered, must be beetles or something huh. 55/60 cedar beetles!
Thanks for all the comments Folks! :wavey: Skipper the TRI-STATE TERRORS will definetely shoot this one. Mikey you'll have to ask Vince what those secret limb cores and veneers are. He said they came over on or are a part of the NINA, PINTA, OR SANTA MARIA. Soaked in Extra Virgin Olive Oil first. Instead of Foam core he said he used Provolone cheese. :biglaugh:
By the way that tree has been my backstop for about 13 years now. It saw it's share of 3-D targets [ with holes in the vitals], bags targets, etc etc. That's where all my Trad Gang Bud's come to see and shoot the new bows too. :archer: Great Backstop. :goldtooth: 55/60 cedar beetles. :biglaugh:
Wow...
How many Polocks does it take to place the arrows in the specific dots..????
"ONE" and a Mohawk....
:bigsmyl:
Beautiful Bow Brother and in your colors to!!!!
CONGRATULATIONS
Easy on the compliments fellas....Ol Stiffrod will be strutting around like a spring Tom in heat carrying that bow around....and none of us will get to shoot it!

THAT'S A HANDSOME BOW! ENJOY IT.
REGARDS, JED
You sure that aint a Bear Montana and "Ole Vinny" cleaned her up a little !!! {Smile goes here} !!
Thanks Jed! My kind of bow. A Hunting Tool. Adam, That's what I said to Vince when I received it. "Reminds me of a Bear Montana" I said. It may look like a Montana but the MOHAWK shoots alot better.
