Title: Nock nserts for alum shafts
Post by: lucky strike on January 27, 2010, 07:37:00 AM
I found a company that has carbon fiber nock inserts to use in place of uni bushings so conventional nocks can be used. They are glued into the raw shaft and I was told acetone will not affect them if a nock breaks and needs to be replaced
Has anyone had any experience with these inserts?
pros and cons!

PS: I can't stand uni's on a longbow! I used to use them in target competition using a release aid and compund target bow and they eventually worked loose . Also they hve a lousy feel in the fingers for me.

Are you talking about an adapter that will take a glue on nock?  I have never heard of them, sure would like more info.

I'm interested in this company, it would be nice if I had only one type of nock to deal with!

glue a cx nock adapter into the unibushing for aluminums that use the S Nock.  Then you can glue on any 5/16 nock. dino

I use the aluminum all the time, curious about the carbon fiber.
