He Musktoxman

don`t tell me that you swapped your mule for a snowmobile !!!

If things go wrong out there, you could still eat up that mule and survive on it.    :biglaugh:

This looks like some good stew will be on the table soon.
Am I allowed to invite myself ?

Daniel

Dang I miss snowshoe hare hunting.  Don't have many here in Texas but it was one of my favorite hunts in Washington.

Mike, you could try jackrabbits while on your snowshoes 8^).   Some pretty country up in Alaska, but I guess everyone knows that by now 8^).  Good shooting.

Mr. Muskoxman,
Sure looks like you folks had a great time!
Our Hare seem to be on the low end of the cycle right now, in our area.  Still, always nice to be out and about.
Thank you for sharing.
Best Wishes

SS Hare for me tonight.  The poor little guys keep sticking their heads in my coyote snares!

I need to drive up next spring when your baby ox hit the grass, my wife would love to see the little puff balls.

Hey Daniel,

You are invited for rabbit stew, but I'm afraid its quite a jaunt from Andorra.
If you make it maybe you could help me teach my mule to walk with snowshoes, then I wouldn't need the sno-go.

I'm afraid mule stew IS NOT AN OPTION !

John's mule is by far the smartest pack animal I have ever known! He is also the farm guard dog. He is also big, quarter horse big.

I have the same situation at my place couldn't find a bunny with a pack of hounds. However an hour in the truck another on the sled and it was small game paradise! We worked both sides of the drainage we had hunted with our snow go's on the way out, plan was to pick up another rabbit or two. At one point I counted 10 rabbits we were herding down the mountain.
