I just thought i would post a little about chad and his bows. I can start off by saying im really a recurve guy but these lost creek bows are the ones i really shoot well!!!! they are very QUICK and shoot right where you look!!!! and absolutly DEAD in your hand. I cant believe you get such an AWESOME bow for the price that chad sells them for, and chad is a super guy to deal with!
If you guys havent had a chance to shoot a lost creek you should, you would not be disapointed they are everything you look for in a bow most bows i have owned or shot only have 1 or 2 good characteristics but the these bows have it all QUICK QUIET SMOOTH and easy to shoot.
You bout said it all, Chas. If anyone is looking for a great little hunting bow, they should certainly give one a try!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks CHAS-MASTER-FLASH, good review from a man that has defenitely shot a few longbows.
High praise. Guess I gotta shoot one.
I've been wanting to shot one for while also, Everyone seems to love em.
Chad is a good man, and he builds a great shooting bow.
I look forward to trying his new recurve one day.
I'm sure it shoots just as nice as the longbows.
chad's one of the good guys.
I bought one off of trad gang and shot it a few times and loved it. I started to tune it for turkey season and the bottum limb tip broke off. I put it away and have not looked at it since. Has anyone else had any problems and if so have repairs gone well? I am thinking of sending it to him to get it fixed.
Crotch Horn, Hi, this is Chad of "Lost Creek Bows", and thanks for all the praise and nice words on my craftmanship and design, also the comments about myself personally, I really appreciate it all, I'm blushing over here, LOL. I haven't had any problems with tip overlays or the limbs breaking off, maybe it's due to the use of the previous owners? Crotch, if you would like, send the bow back and I'll fix the limb tip, but you will have to get in contact w/me personally and explain the exact damage to give me an idea of what I can do for you as warrenties only go to the original owner for 1 yr. Call me please, as I'd like to know that you're happy shooting a "Lost Creek". 641-660-1070
I knew Chad would come to the rescue of Crotch Horn... Chad goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are extremely happy with his bows.
Chad,
Thanks for the reply. I love the bow and would like to get it fixed. I work 12.5 hour nights and am going to bed after a long night. Will contact you this weekend or Monday depending on what works for you. Thanks again.
Dan
Dan, give me a call this weekend or whenever it works out best for you. Chad
Yep, Chad is a good guy who in my experience wants his customers to be happy. Build a very nice bow as well.
If you're looking for a short longbow, Chad's bows are definitly worth a look. I'm not a longbow guy, I was really impressed with his bows when I shot them last year at the Rapid's shoot. Chad, where's that recurve that I saw you were developing? I don't see it on your web site.
First custom I ordered was a Lost Creek and I still have it! I had a Black Widow and promptly sold it after getting my Lost Creek, great bow and an even better guy to deal with.
Those are some BEAUTIFUL bows Chad makes!!!!
Chad,
Will give you a call. I have to admit I got your bow by accident. I was looking for a short bow for turkey hunting from ground blinds & a guy told me he had a Black Creek bow. I bought it and when it arrived it was one of yours. I contacted him and he said he did not know the difference and asked if I wanted my money back. Well, I shot the bow and loved it. Needless to say I kept it. I am sure we will get her back up & running. Will talk to you soon.
Thanks again.
Dan
Never had one in my hand; so, does it have the feel of a Shrew? It looks kind of like it would with its "forward hand" design. Thanks
Chads bows are whisper quiet, rocket fast and totally shock free. I've shot almost every bow out there and Lostcreeks rank at the very top with a select few.
SuperK,
I wanted to try a Shrew but they always go fast on the classifieds. Like you, I thought the Lost Creek with the forward grip was kind of shrew looking. I picked up a used Lost Creek while still looking for a Shrew. Later I picked up a couple Shrews.
While I like the Shrew grip and feel, I personally like the Lost Creek grip even better. I have one of my Shrews for sale on the classifieds now and have another Lost Creek on order. Chad builds a great bow. All the good things folks have said about Lost Creeks are spot on.
Try a Lost Creek when you can, I'll bet you'll love it.

I can only agree with everyone else! Great bow and a good bowyer :notworthy: I drive a 18 wheeler for profit:) and I was in his area, gave him a call and he came out to meet me an drove me to his home where we shot a little. I ordered a bow and love it! I own a few bows of different brands but when I head out the door the "Lost Creek" just refuses to stay behind.
Chad,
Thiis is crotch horn. I have been crazy busy and will try to call you later tonight or tomorrow. I look forward to talking with you. Til then.
