Many of you know my buddy Chimaster and I got the first two TallTines available for sale.
We liked them so much, we immediately got back on the list for another pair of twins as we knew the waiting list would get long--quick.
Brian is bringing a bunch of bows to Kalamazoo this weekend including our new "twins"
I've been after him for pictures and I think he has been enjoying making me wait. I did finally get this ONE picture...he says he sent a bunch :saywhat:
So, here is what I have so far...we've got the Bocote bookends. The Cocobolo in the center will be for sale this weekend.

Brian has an eye for picking out nice woods.
OUTSTANDING :clapper:
Awesome looking Bocote.
WOW. Can not wait to see the rest of the story.
Tim
Oh My.That bocote is eye popping.I am starting to drool a wee bit.Lets see the rest of em.Let me get my bib on 1st.
The one in the center will look good on my rack! hehe!!! Friday can't get here soon enough.
Yeah, I'm told the center on has some sweet Coco limbs...that boy has some e-mail problems and it is killing...ME!
Beautiful bud! I luv Bacote
Very nice, can't wait to shoot some on Friday. It looks like the shelf is a little more radiused. I talked to Brian a week or two ago and he told me he made some changes to his bows that aren't showing on the website yet. I'm starting to get excited for this weekend...Mike
Beautiful. I'll be sure and stop by.
Really nice risers, what lengths. Cannot wait to see mine. It is Cocobolo riser and cocobolo limbs...should be done soon Brian said he was starting on it right after the first of the year
Nice.I have been shooting mine for a few weeks and it is a great bow.
Chad
Brian does his best to stay on schedule, but shipments and supplies and a host of other things can get in the way of getting bows out. I just have patience and know I will get mine when I get it. I like to be surprised. Ha!
WOW! Beautiful Bocote!
See you Friday Steve
Steve,is your riser the short one that makes a58"long recurve?
Wow! Very nice! Definitely a bow I need to try this weekend!
Those are some good lookin' risers
Very Nice!!! Can't wait to shoot them this weekend.
Bill
I'm pretty sure I get the meduim limb and the medium riser--I'm a pretty medium vanilla kinda guy--and both the righty and lefty are 60 inchers.
Here's a pic of the Myrtle limbs and Kudu tips--I think something is wrong with his camera, but this is all I have for now...

Now do I go with the Brown Antler Knobs or the Gray ones to match the tips???
I've got to get to work, but I do have a couple more pics of bows Brian is bringing to Kalamazoo for sale and will put them up later.
Brown ;)
What a beauty bud :clapper:
Brown Steve,brown.
Dayglo orange knobs so you won't loose em and have that thing sprayed flat black so you can use it in a blind.
Beautiful bow Steve.
Here you go "picture rookies"

Wow those are looking awesome!!
Hopefully Brian is getting close to building mine.
So, TJ, those are supposed to look better than the pictures I posted :saywhat:
I am going to go to the JoeVT school of archery photography, then we'll have something!
Now, work is over rated, and I've run into a little slack time, so here is a shot of Chimaster's new twin:
Steve....check your email!
Someone needs a lesson on color temperatures and incandescent lighting:^)
Wow!!! The more I see Brians work the more I can't wait to get my Tall Tines. Love them myrtle limbs!!!!
Here are the Antler Knobs Brian is making:
He'll have a few sets of those at Kalamazoo, I am sure.
Wow...that is sweet looking twins there...very nice wood choice. Can't wait for my name to come back up. Hopefully he will still have some around on sat when I get there.
Walnut Dymondwood and CaneBrake skins:
Man that is awesome. I cant wait for this weekend to try one out!!
Thanks for making this week seem a little longer Steve!! :banghead:
Love my Talltines! Hmm, I think those canebreak skins are the ones Brian got from me, excellent work Brian.
Nice looking bows...I'm glad my name made it on the list in November of last year. This is like waiting for the school bell to go off before summer vacation.
George, I'm with you...placed my order in November as well....the wait is killing me.
I put my name on the list in November also.
I sure wish I were going to Kzoo to see all those nice bows in person.
Handsome looking stuff !!!!!
I will have my 64" TT take-down at Brian's booth at K-zoo. Please feel free to try it out! Mike
This is definately not helping my pocketbook situation.
Does Brian do any grip checkering?
Hey does anyone know of a bow hotel, I may have to send the Tips out for awhile and tell the wife they were "sold" to fund a new Tall Tines. Probably ought to get the doghouse ready just in case.
Brian said the checkering option is in the works, and will be available soon.
I talked with his yesterday. He's set up now for checkering.
Looks like he's changed the way he does his tips?
Nice looking takedowns, SteveO - I'll see you and your alter ego at the KZoo, save a seat for me, and tell him to bring his horn hat! If I had a bow that nice I'd feel guilty about using it to wrench barbed-wire fences open when I'm crossing them.
R
1/4 away have you pick your wood combo yet? I'm having a tough time...last change of underware had me with tulipwood and ebony.
George, I went with macassar ebony riser with a bocote stripe and myrtle limbs.
any word on when brian's 3 piece longbow will be available?
George....I will tell Brian to just call me when your name comes up....I'll get it broke in good then bring it to you next time we head to Ray's....LOL
Fred that sound like a great combo.
Terry you'll probably have better luck breaking it in than I will.
you should have stopped with "better luck breaking it" ....you will love the way it shoots!
Boy! You called it on the Bacote! :bigsmyl:
Good looking stuff right there!
Bill
Here's the Coco/Coco:
As far as the 3pc longbow, one piece longbow, and the one piece recurve...they are still being worked on and I've not heard any date when they will be rolling out. I know Brian is doing his best to keep the wait time for guys to get their bows at 8-12 weeks not 1-2 years as we have been conditioned.
The cocobolo riser/cocobolo limbs is a 62" with medium riser.
Alright enough already! I will say it...Steve O you sir are a tease! LOL Those are some real beauties....making it harder and harder to choose wood combo's. Thanks for posting all the pic's.
Can't wait to meet Brian....he sure builds a great bow.
:biglaugh:
I can tell you one thing, I hope somebody gives that boy a lesson on picture taking becasue I know they look a whole lot better in person than those pictures are showing!
I gave Brain trouble about his pictures he says his camera is messed up.
OK,
MAYBE the camera got whacked into working this afternoon. I've got more "inventory" pictures and I'll just post them all at once here. We can all guess the woods or maybe Brian can come in when his lungs unclog from all the exotic dust he has been making lately  I don't want to make any mistakes.

Not a leftie in the bunch....isn't that discrimination
The veneers on the 3rd bow are really nice.
Don't worry Billy, there will be a few Lefty TTs there to shoot. He's an equal opportunity bowyer ;)
Just when you think all the really nice woods are gone. Outstanding!!!
Man that myrtle is sweet.I think my second one may have to have myrtle veneers.
Chad
Hey guys. Just putting the final touches on a few things for the show. I'll be cutting more myrtle veneer as it is drawing some second looks for those that are interested. I'd like to have been able to get more finished up for the show, but these will at least give everyone a feel for the TallTines curve.
Also, I'm getting a lot of inquiries about the one piece curve and a 3 piece l.b. My plans are to get back in the shop and get caught up in Feb with orders. Once I'm back on track in a few weeks I'll be finishing up the 3 piece l.b. and getting a few out there for everyone. Once that is done I'll be refining my 1 piece design.
That nasty Bacote(3rd) bow is outstanding!!
Some sweet looking bows...bet not many of them make it back home with him.
Yeah Chris, I'd be surprised if any make it back to Iowa...with him anyway :notworthy:
Brian....got a question about your 3 pc Longbow...
Will they be based on the same riser as your recurve so that limbs will change?
Curt, the one bow I am sure of is the 3rd one. That is Bocote in the riser and Myrtle in the limbs. All the rest are various combos of Bocote, Cocobolo, and Bolivlian or Brazillian Rosewood.
Brians limb laminations are stunning...I'm partial to number 5's limbs.
Is #3 yours bud?
I'm hoping to finally get my lefty soon Billy, will post some pics I can.
Guru--nope, mine is a little less flashy to go with my personality :D
I just remember that pattern from some of the pieces I looked at when I visited the shop before Christmas.
I dropped off some Sealskin and Hush Puppy's so they will be all ready for shooting when we get them Friday...hopefully we can get a little testing in before the doors open ;)
Didn't see a 60" Boo cored black glass limbed Coco risered bow about 56#@28 in the bunch. Dang!
LoweBow...I hope to eventually offer that type of set up. The first 3 piece that I will offer will be a narrower limb bow that is separate from my curve riser design. But, that is a great idea and one that I hope to offer in the future.
Side note....Thank you everyone who has orders in for being so patient while I get ready for this show. I'll do my best when I get home to get caught up and try to maintain a good turnaround time.
Those are some great looking bows and I can't wait to see some at the show in person.

Was over at TJ's house tonight and we were playing w/ my new Morrison, but were shooting all of his bows also. I grabbed his TT and shot a tea cup sized group w/ it on the first go round.
Every time I lay this bow down I seem to forget just how fast and how accurate it is. Great bows Brian. I'm either gonna steal TJ's or have to break down and sell some stuff to get me one I guess.
Mike, That may be a little tough, I hear TJ sleeps with his TT... :biglaugh:
I am getting to the Kzoo show early this eveing, the Tall Tines booth will be the first one I go to :) Sure is a lot of ruckus about these bows--I can't wait to see why :bigsmyl:
Wife - For Sale
Bird dog - For Rent
TallTines - Touch it and you will be shot!
Alright guys!! The latest pics have put me over the edge!! I'm about ready to give Brian a call and get on the list and find out for myself what all the talk is about!! It's pretty obvious by looking at the pics, that they are a great looking bow, I'd be interested in hearing from some of the lucky owners of a Tall Tines their thoughts on accuracy, performance, grip feel, etc. Thanks, Jr.
Guss,
We all aren't going gaga over them just because they look good...they are very special shooters-excellent feel and visable to the naked eye speed increases compared to my other recurves. I've got some chrono numbers somewhere, but I am driving to Kzoo right now. PM me if you have any specific questions.
Jr,
The grip on a bow could be the single most deciding factor on anyone liking a particular bow.
Brian has a great grip as far as I'm concerned, but the kicker is the *GRIP RIDGE*
Brian carries the bottom of the thumb groove on around toward the front of the riser. This ridge is designed for a perfect, repeatable grip every time. The ridge really doesn't force you to seperate your index and middle finger since it isn't that pronounced, but it is defined enough to make it very difficult to not repeat the same identical grip shot after shot....you just have to hold, and shoot one to appreciate the grip.
The TT is the most accurate bow I've ever shot, and I attribute that to the grip ridge.
I haven't chroned my bow because I could care less how fast it is, but it shoots as fast, if not faster than any other recurve I've shot. It will hold it's own against anything I have owned.
You need to try one for yourself, but TT is developing a strong following in a short time for all the reasons you ask about...Accuracy,Performance, and Grip.
Billy, you have convinced me.Send me your TT so i can improve my scores.LOL.I am trying to figure out what lenght, poundage and wood combo.
Thanks guys! Steve, I will PM ya if I have any questions before ordering, if you get a chance just grab the bocote/myrtle bow and ship it to Arkansas! Billy, the grip is the first thing I always look at, and the TT grip looks awesome! I'm not caught up in the speed either, just lookin for a good performer that's easily silenced. Thanks again. Jr.
Felix,
I have one you can sure try....leftie, 60" long, 54#'s @28.
Pay shipping, and you can give it a whirl.
The shipping is OK is the Custom that will kill me.This is the reason I ship everything to Colorado.I'll be there for the CTAS banquet, have more than 15 bows there to pick up.all lefties!!!
Felix, maybe I tell my wife that I need to meet you on Colorado so you can try mine out......I'm sure she wouldn't mind!! :scared:
Allen, from all the threads I read here you American guys are scared to dead from your wives, more than a charging Grizz. Are they so gusty?
