Ryan
That is a beautiful animal you are holding.
I would love to hear the story of your hunt.
I had a great season BUT for the first time in 5 years I did not have a white tail bow kill and for the first time in 8 years I had NO bow kills! Our season ended Saturday so I am making plans for the 2010 year.
Looking forward to see how everyone else did.
Here is my buck I shot in Dec. of 09. Shot him with a 57# Crow Creek Blackfeather at 15 yards. It was 2 degree's with a 30 mile an hour wind the day I shot him. (http://i566.photobucket.com/albums/ss101/blackfeather48/P1010045.jpg) Here is a doe I shot this weekend with a new to me Blackfeather I just bought off the classifieds. Very nice deers, congrats hunters.
I can't seem to post a pic, but I have a deer kill pic that I would LOVE to share. A supreme example, not due to the deer, but due to the fact that my 5 year old shot it. His first deer. You would have thought it was a new world record. In fact, I was shaking so badly I had trouble reloading the g*n. I know, not a bowkill, but I have gotten more joy out of this doe than any buck that I have ever killed. Kids are the future of hunting.
By the way he shoots a recurve all the time. A future TGer.
...cool!

No bucks for me this year but I did get 3 does. i killed 2 really nice bucks last year (the one in my avatar is one of them) and I got to go to South Africa this past summer so I am not complaining.

Everyone asks that. :D It was a Woodsman. The deer was right under me. The first shot was spine. The arrow in the pic was the coups de gras. Shot from a 54# selfbow, that head went through a shoulder blade and was sticking several inches in the dirt on the other side. Small deer, but impressive still.
My Brother is from Knoxville !!! Nice Deer !!!
My bow is 51# -pass through with a 510 grain arrow
Great deer everyone! Some impressive bucks. I managed to screw-up my few opportunities. Oh well, next season. :)
