I have just enough bows (8) under my belt to notice the grips are different, even the same model from year to year. So what bow has your favorite grip? Is it a low, medium or high grip? The one I have that feels best is a 1999 Black Widow TFIII and I don't know if it is a medium, high or low.
shrew/griffin...it's small with a just right thumbrest...others have similar grips but they are larger and it's not the same
+1 on the Shrew and I also like Dave Dwyer's grip on his bows.
Terry Green made this comment recently in another topic about a BW and I'm 100% in agreement:
"And, the grip is not so close to the shelf that if you wear a heavy glove in the cold, the glove wont rise up into the arrow shaft. Some grips are so close to the shelf on some bows I can't shoot them in the dead of winter as the glove I wears humps up and contacts the arrow."
Straight handled "D" style LB grip large.
Dye
Crow Creeks and Dale Dyes
My favorite.

Well, that Shrew grip is really nice. I also really like the grip on my Quinn Stallion. I have a BW PTF odered with the Asbell grip. I hope I like it!
ordered!!! LOL
Shrew is my favorite, but the grip on my Voodoo is a close 2nd place.
I hahe a Toelke whip with a thumb rest that is just perfect for me.Next would be my Mohawk.Awsome job Vince!
Centaur, It is made to YOUR hand print, Shrew, also a good one.
Tall Tines has the best grip I've found for me and my shooting style.
The grip on my Shrew Li'l Favorite is my "favorite".

Grips are a personal choice, for me I like a straight, dish or mild locator type grips for my longbows.
+1 on the shrew for me
The Dale Dye grip fits me perfectly......amazing that he builds each grip to fit the individual that the bow is built for.....must be a lot of folks with similar sized hands....every one I've ever shot suited me.
So far for me it's the Lee Signature TD Hunter. Medium wrist, nice & slim...
SHREW....nothing else comes close for me. :archer:
Regular widow grip for a recurve and MOAB grip for a longbow.
I like regular locator grips also.
SL
Silvertip TD medium grip.It has a super wide palm swell, fits my hand like it was made for me.
BW standard grips are decent for me as well, but the narrow palm swell makes it feel like holding a hatchet blade.I've been told the Asbell grip on BW bows are the same thing.Been wanting to try one to see.
Bear grizzly grips are spot on for me too.
