I went to the post office and picked up my new Lost Creek today. Chad built me a looker! It's smooth, quiet and quick. I've shot it all day and am so sore, I'll be stiff in the morning.
It's 48# at my 27 inch draw. I shot it through the chrony today and it shot 172 fps with 520 grain douglas fir shafts and 180 with 483 grain carbons.
Like all of Chads bows, it's not spine sensitive and I shot 3 different spine woods and 2 different carbons. It shot whatever I put through it.
I ended up with an 8 inch brace on it but honestly couldn't tell any difference between 7 1/2 and 8 inches. It's quiet anywhere in there and has no handshock at all.
I just had to post some pictures of this baby.

Thanks guys. The veneers are Tamo Ash. Chad put a nice finish on it. The grain in the ash is beautiful. It looks almost like 3D. It has depth to it.
I wanted something nice and I asked Chad what he would use as veneers if he was building his own bow. He said he would use the tamo and that was good enough for me. I'm very happy with the bow, both in looks and performance.
The pictures don't do it justice. It's a baby doll!
Real nice, i like his design of longbow.
Very nice! Hap
Nice looking and shooting bow there! Save my $20's, Save my $20's, Save my $20's....eventually they'll add up! Dang I think I've got one in my wallet now I've gotta go put it away in the bow stash right away...
Your bows just get prettier and prettier!! Chad, that is a really great looking bow!! Congratulations to the lucky owner.
:clapper:
BCWV, how long is the bow?
WOW x2
Hey coaster,
It's 60". The 56" I got from you now lives with my brother. He shot it one day and snotted and bawled until I let him have it. That Lost Creek fits him like a glove. He's deadly with it!
If I remember right, you like Chads longer bows dont you?
Have a good one.
(http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h58/buckvalley/tamo%20ash/021.jpg) Brad, this is a indoor photo of your bow, I almost cut the bow left handed and kept it for myself. I wanted to keep it for decoration and just get it down off the wall and look at it on slow days, I guess I'm just easily gratified with simple beauty. Please, enjoy the bow as much as I did building it for you, I hope that it performs well for you for a long time to come. Keep in touch. Chad

Thanks Chad for putting your heart into that bow. It would be hard for me to let go if I made something that nice.
Now I have to figure out a way to keep my brother from taking it from me. He's bigger than I am.
A good new bow is always enjoyable! All the best, and many happy days to you!
That little 56" is a shooter.
Hey if I snot n bawl will you let me have the 60 ? Yea right :)
I'll say it again once you shoot one of Chads bow you will be a believer.
beautiful bow.chad has really came a long way as a bowyer in the past few years.
Took the new Lost Creek to our indoor shoot today. I've been tearing my fletching off but that bow's just rough on arrows.
