I particularly like the way Dick used curved laminations in the riser; I also like the way he managed to make the laminations form an "X" in the throat of the grip.
The light wood is fiddleback maple, and the darker wood is cocobolo. The limbs have bamboo cores and juniper veneers.

That riser is stunning!
Now you've gone and made me jealous, I am anxiously waiting for my Robertson. Dick, how is my longbow coming along?
Beautiful wood combo,very nice,congrats!
Awesome looking bow!
That's a beauty for sure.
Matt,
I bought a Vision longbow from another member of this forum, and decided it was the best longbow I have ever shot. So I called Dick and gave him an order for this recurve. It takes 6-7 months from the date of the order for him to make the bow and ship it to you.
The bow is 55# @ 28", which is also my draw length. I first shot some 3555 Gold Tips, but found that they were too weak; to shoot 3555's, I would have to load too much weight on the back and couldn't get the FOC I wanted. I finally decided on 5575's with a 145 grain point, which fly very nicely. They also fly fine with 125 grain points, but better with 145 grain points. It is very quiet with the silencers that Dick provides on the string.
The most distinguishing point of the bow, other than the artistry of construction, is it's light weight. It is the noticeably the lightest of any of my recurves.
It is too early to tell if it will be my favorite recurve, but it is definitely in the running.
This is a picture of me shooting it, if that will help you get any idea. I have to say it is me shooting it, because people often think it is Johnny Depp, but it is a common mistake and I don't get bothered by it anymore.

I really like the wood choices you made.
congrats!
Sweet..... I have a Vision Falcon and it is my go to bow. The smoothest and quitest bow (curve) I have ever shoot. You got a keeper there, David.
Enjoy!
 :notworthy:
Rpbertson bows are sweet.
Dave, please let me know when this one no longer works for you.
I've been watching your posts, but don't often see any bows for sale.
Can I see your wall?
Dick has been and continues to be one of the finest bowyers out there. His work is shooting art pieces that look and perform at a high level.
That bow is a Stunner!
That' purdy.......I love the riser and the "X" is SO COOL
jer Bear
that sure is a beauty!i have one of his recurves as well they are the best bows i have ever shot i have shot a lot of others but you cant beat the feel of loosen a arrow from a robertson.
The Robertson recurve are my prefered since long time,I get my first since 1992 a beautyful Montana Falcon witha already rare piece of Brasilian rosewood as a riser. Then I bought almost all the model he made with little improvment every few years.Dick is a precursor, maybe he is been the first one to come out with limbs veneers and the first one to release the Reflex Deflex LB.His latest creation line recurve:the Fatal Stik is his best ever. As already sayed is very light ,but stable, this makes a perfect elk hunting bow to carry all day long up in the mountain.
I had to watch the video about 8 times to see the Depp family resemblance. The first 7 times I could only look at that bow!
Nice!
Very nice!! I might have to sell the BW I got from you and order one of those. Hap
Congrats on the bow. That is one of the coolest risers ive ever seen. A work of art!
Outstanding.
Too many good looking bows keep popping up. My resolve is only so strong.
I bought a used Robertson Fatal stick here on the classifieds a couple months back. It is a great shooting beautiful bow. I really havent shot it much yet as it was deer season when I got it and I didnt want to be switching bows during the season. I am a Widow fan but this bow is very easy to shoot well and I havent spent any time tuning yet. Great bows.
DAVE!!!
Great EXPANSION and CONCLUSION on that shot!
Oh - yea - that is one nice Robertson recurve as well.
Keep up the great shooting!
Shoot straight, David Camp
Gorgeous bow, the maple and cocobolo combination is really sharp. Dick Robertson makes a fine bow.

Mr. Depp, Sir...you must have spent more time in teh shower washing your hair and you must have removed your earrings- you look a lot better than you usually do!!!!
Pretty bow, David!!!
Nice to hear from all of you, and it makes me feel like I've got some pretty good friends around here, even though I haven't met most of you.
They don't come much better than a Robertson Bow!!Awesome workmanship!
