I have a 48" that I can't seem to get it quit enough .It has wool balls and I think D50 string. about a 600gr arrow. I pull 28" and shoot splitfinger. Now I have only shot Long for years so maybe recurves are louder
brace is 8.5
You can play with brace height some(raise it a little), also put some soft velcro on the back of the limb tips where the string contacts them as well as wrapping that part of the string with wool yarn
For recurves I like to use bow hush or wrap some wool yarn around the string where it contacts the limbs. Is the bow FF rated,I would try maybe an 8 strand D97 string,B50 is not always a quieter string.
Sleepyhollow has it right, you need to find the "sweet" spot by messing with the brace height. The bow will tell you what it likes, everyone a little different.

Play with brace height and put some wool on string or felt on the limbs. Just like everyone is saying. Cascades can be very quiet bows, you just need to find the sweet spot.
