These look like a really nifty 58" bow. I drooled over one at the Nebraska Traditional Archer's shoot last summer, but I couldn't shoot at the time. Anybody have any input on how they shoot, performance, speed, etc, etc????
I will let you know after the Kzoo expo. It is on the list. :readit:
I shot one with Dwyer at the GLLI last summer. He was shooting it at the target butts and he knows I like his longbow. It is a good shooter like the longbow and dauntless. I have a draw between 27-28", and it was fine, I don't know how it is with longer draws. As I remember it was as fast as anything else and not loud. If you like short longbows it is a nice bow.
I have one on order, cant wait to get it, should have it at the end of May....never have shot one but seems like a nice bow
I am new to trad. hunting and bought a beginner Samick Sage to start the journey for my son and I.
I work in the same town as Dave and he helped us set up our new bows. He had an endeavor ready to be finished and I can't beleive the smooth lines of that thing. He let us shoot his dauntless I think and that was a beauty as well.
I don't know much about long bows, but both my son and I were drawn to the beauty of that endeavor.

They are great bows.My friend has one and he draws 30 in.Very quiet & fast.My next bow will be one.The Dwyers are great people.

I spent some time shooting one at the same Nebraska Traditional Archers shoot last year.
I bought a used Dale Dye Trails End that morning from Mike Horton or I would of taken that Endeavor home. Very nice short longbow. My opinion is Dwyer hit a homerun with the Endeavor. I really like my 62" Dauntless also.
It is a mavelous bow! I have a long 30 plus inch draw ... never noticed any stack or pinch. I think I was getting about 180 fps @ 9 grain per pound or so. Also very quiet and no hand shock. This one was a prototype. Another had a newer Endeavor. It was just as fast and quiet and 6 pounds lighter draw. Yeah, they are sweet bows if you like a handle forward, short long bow ... great for hunting from a blind.
Bob.
Well now that folks are coming home from Kzoo does anyone have more opinions?
I shot it a couple times each day. Loved it! They only had a real low 40's, 45, and 60@28. I would have loved to shoot a 50-52#. I shot the 45. It was really zipping my carbons at about 540 gr. Smooth, fast, no hand shock I could feel. I draw 29 1/4" and no problem at all. It was real accurate for me. I would say real quiet, but it is so hard to be sound critical in a crowd. The grip is a little thinner and more rectangular in nature than I am used to, but it worked very well for me. I shot a 62" Dauntless that was nice, but I think I liked the endeavor better.
There was an Endeavor there? ;) I couldn't let go of that Dauntless long enough to even see anything else. It was literally they only bow I saw on his rack because as soon as my eyes saw it everything else disappeared. If it were a 2pc it would have came home. Oh yeah we were talking about the Endeavor; Sorry! :D

Make a right turn then a quick hair pin left to the other side of the rack. :D
I should add that I saw quite a few people shoot that bow and come away with a smile. Even one of the biggest shrew fan couldn't keep his hands off it. ;) :biglaugh:
Anyone else?
I shot one at Kalamazoo on the weekend. The bow was 48#@28. It drew back as smooth as slik to my 29 inch draw. I was shooting a 600grain arrow, and it smoked an arrow. I have put it on my lists of bows I would love to own.  :archer:
I have 4 original Dwyer longbows and 1dauntless, after shooting the endeavor at Kzoo I want one bad.Dave makes great bows you will not be disapointed if you get one can't say enough good things about them.
I found out this past wk/nd at K-Zoo what I've been hearing about Dwyers bows. Shot a beauty...Spalted sycamore limbed Dauntless..smooth & fast...next bow was an Endeavor....smokin' 'em....A Dwyer is on my gotta have list. I will..I will..have one b4 Oct. 1st I say...Yes I will!
