Title: sunday afternoon stumpin
Post by: beaver#1 on January 18, 2010, 09:18:00 PM
Me and my wife Meagan and her younger brother got out of the house and went for a stroll sunday afternoon.  we usally just shoot in the backyard and targets but that was getting boring.

Looks like you had a fun day, Dustin.  That's a good way to shake off some of that cabin fever!

Looks like you had some pleasant TX weather for the outing!

What kind of longbow were you shooting that day?

Shoot straight, Shinken

Man, that looks like fun.  Same country as around here.  What happened to that quiver full of flu flus you have in the picture on the leaning tree?

shinken its a great northern critter gitter 65@28.
and la trapper my brother in law found out he likes shooting flu flus cause he says they make him shoot better. i told him that because the big feather stabilize the arrows flight alot faster but that he should not hunt big critters with them. he just started shooting and is doing great. the last shot of the day was a  huge bull rotten pine limb at about 30 yards,  he drilled it right through the heart.  alot better that i did he i was that young of a shooter.
