Ive had one in the past.sold it wished I hadent and finally got another. My first was the take down diamond ss(only sold it because it was too heavy for me 72#@ my draw)my shoulder was screaming after a couple of hundred arrows in the back yard. The one I have now is the one piece diamond ss 55@28".I think they are great bows.no complaints here.Smooth, dead in the hand and very quiet.Just my 2 cents worth.

I like the grip on the one piece better than the takedown.  Just suttle difference.  A good shooting R/D longbow.

I've had mine for about 4 years and I like it pretty well.  Very smooth and quiet.

Ive owned one of the ss's, and wish Id never sold it. Speed wise, dont know, but  I sure  wasnt dissapointed. Mine was a 1-P, Plan to buy another in the near future, this one will be a keeper.

I have a one piece Woodland Hunter, I think that it is a great bow. I went to 3 rivers and shot them before buying and i liked the original series over the diamond. Seemed quieter and was lighter in weight. I personally think the fit and finish is outstanding. I don't know about fast, but mine is fast enough. Hope this helps and good luck!

As far as the speed goes, we tested my 55# @28 Diamond SS with a 600gr arrow. I draw 29" and I shoot an avg of 180fps. I also shot my friends A&H & Morrison bows, both 54# @28 and they both shot 185fps with the same arrow. On avg about 5fps slower than the top performers...
