Wolf :scared: or big dog. By the way that one of those St. Joes Rivers Long Bows?
Cujo
Definately dog tracks.
Looks like Quad tracks maybe dog was chasing his/her master.
Dog. The print is too round for a wolf. They have a longer center.
Joshua
Arctic Cat :)
Canine for sure...
Bigfoot...
Thats a canine, really hard to tell domestic dog from wolf. context clues can help. Follow and look for scat, that would help too.
What jhg said...too round for a wolf.
Canine.
Looks like they may have been there a while. The close up shows fur or vegetation in the middle of the track and it looks like it may have melted into the track. The edges of the track looks rounded too from thawing and then freezing again.
Our Lab will leave a track that size.
Probably dog. As said, wolf tracks are longer relative to width than these. And wolf tracks are typically a little more centered side to side than these i.e the tracks are each almost centered on a straight line drawn from one to the next. But hey, follow them out !
Agree with large dog, believe as chinook907 that a wolf's gate almost crosses with his hind feet when casually loping along.
Well....where did you see them? Were you in a wilderness area that has wolves? If I saw these in northern Wisconsin in Douglas Co., they'd be wolf tracks, not someone's 80# lab, likely. As DHR eluded to, what were some other clues, where did they lead to? A domestic canine likely would have stayed on the road or been adjacent to human tracks , correct?

Kris
Most likely a large Chihuahua or a possible rabid Boston Terrier. Although it could be Big Foot messing with humans...LOL!
If it is a dog I would hate to feed him
Thanks to everyone for there comments!!
Bentpole...yes that is a St. Joe River Bow. It was the last bow Craig Potter (designer/orginal owner) built before selling the company.

Yep, canine for sure.
dog
Whatever it is, if you come across it, arrow it before it eats you...
Dog
Dog, my Labs leave tracks just like those. Just went outside to compare.
Dog - or one mighty big 'yote.
It's a hoax
Lab,can't tell maybe black or yellow, not chocolate!
