What are the pros and cons of a forward handle design? Are they based on the specifics of the design? Any thoughts on the design of this bow?
Does anyone recognize the bow? I like the looks of the bow, the clean lines of the bow, but wonder about how it would shoot.

Wow...that is a beautiful bow. I really don't know about the pros/cons of such a design, but wouldn't it change your draw length somewhat?
A "pro" would be a higher brace height.
Better stability, slower arrow speed. I like deflexed risers a lot. That is a cool looking bow. How does it shoot?

They point naturally and easily.
It probably would feel like a pendulum when being handled.

Thanks for the comments. Yekrut, you are correct ... this is the bow on rmsgear.com and I have been considering getting it but did not know what to expect from it. The main design seems very similar to the Black Widow PTF model, though the riser is more slender. That would seem to say the design performs well.
If I get it, I will be sure to post comments about its performance.
I've had two forward or significantly deflexed riser bows a Black Widow PTF and a Bruin Deflex Express which is pictured. I liked the Black Widow, I love the Bruin. Very stable, plenty fast, and and very easy to make quiet. This bow is 58" and I shoot it very comfortably even though I draw it nearly 32". It exhibits no noticeable stack or finger pinch. Bruin's are built by Mike Steliga of Antigo, WI.

Yes for sure this kind of design speaks for accurate and forgiving bow 2 of the more important features in a hunting bow.Nice looking too.

Great Plains makes one similar as well in this style in a curve.Thats worth a look.
The basic model is the Kiowa and thier are fancier editions.
I think they tend to point nice and are stable. I really prefer the forward handle risers.
