A couple of you have emailed me about my bow holders, so I have post a couple of models. They are made with tree steps and some square tubing of various sizes. I used a forge and a little welder.
The 3/4 inch square tubing with an eazy step welded solid is my favorite. I put these at all my stand locations. I like to have my bow hanging directly in front of me. I rubber dip the end and apply some pitch blend when it gets down below freezing. The bow comes off silky smooth.
I use this with my body heater suit and have taken many deer this way.

The easy step is bent straight and then it fits nicely into the 3/4 square tubing. You have to weld at the point were the threads attach to the step to prevent upward motion as the bow is taken of the holder. You can also cut and apply teflon washers to make a collapsible holder. I got the tubing at lowes hardware.

Slick set-up. Hap
Great idea! I'll make myself a couple of them out of those steps that I no longer use.
Neat idea, thanks for sharing.
