To All:
This board has been incredible for sure. Knowledge, comradery, support, and a ton of generosity!
Well, I was looking for an affordable quiver for my son's birthday as we are strapped for money this year due to a five-figure medical bill for my youngest son.
Instead of recommending an affordable quiver, Mike/Squirrel Bait sent one that he made. All I can say is...
WOW! WHAT A BFUL QUIVER!
This quiver is a soft leather, with imprinted turkey prints and a beard. It is gorgeous, but I cant post a pic of it yet, as I think my youngest son is now visiting this board. I want it to be a surprise for Trey.
I will post pics as close to the 26th (his birthday) as possible, and Mike will be getting a personal note or call of thanks from both my son and I.
Thanks again Mike, you are going to put a smile on Trey's face. We are going to wrap it and torture him for about a week, on the outside it will say - "To Trey from Squirrel Bait."
That ought to get him thinking - lol. Many thanks again to Mike and all of this board that have helped us out this year. Things will get better and I will return the generosity back to this board.
Tim

Nice!!! Insert clapping thumbs up emoticon here. I'm a little technology challenged.
You know if he takes that quiver there will be some chance that your son will want to spend some time at camp with Mike. Be warned. :smileystooges:
My step son and I spent a few days with Ray and mike and we had a blast. I'm from the country and Mike still showed me a thing or two about slang country sayings. Loved every minute of it. :) Lin
Mike is a good guy to share camp with. I think!!
  :clapper:
Tim, Happy birthday to your son and good on Mike for stepping in with the quiver. I noticed you mentioned medical bills etc.. I can certainly relate as my 2 year old daughter has had 15 surgeries on her eyes already and facing number 16 next month. This site is amazing with the knowledge and generosity that is shared. Keep up the good work and let us know how it all goes down when he opens the package. Take care and be well. Skippy
 :clapper: that type of generosity is straight from the heart.....way to go !!!!!!!!
Ok, now you guys are scaring me when you talk about "camp" stuff. - lol.
Tim
yes, Lin...this weekend's gem was
" well ain't you about as sharp as a mashed potato"
Mike is as good as they get 'round these here parts.

I couldn't even imagine that amount of surgeries and I wish you and your family well. It certainly puts my son's ACL reconstruction surgery in perspective. We just have crappy insurance being self employed, and need to pay about $10K or so of the expenses.
That is a small amount in comparison to a child going through so many surgeries. We just living "tight" until we get these dang bills paid off.
Tim
Hats off to you Mlke...well done!
Awesome...just awesome. Gotta love the brotherhood
