This stave is transition wood with more sideways bends than any stave I have ever attempted. I have been heating it off and on for months and almost have it straight.

The last bow I made for me was over three years ago. Time to treat myself to a new bow.

Dryad for us poor folks that don't have much spare cash, but gifted with woodworking skills. Actually, those bow blanks are no brainers.

Second bow was a Contender (my favorite)
It has bamboo lams bocote riser and tigerstripe myrtlewood venners. Both are capped with clear glass.

Both bows are 66"
English is 56#@28"
Contender is 53#@28"

Will soon be ordering another Liberty with some Red Elm in the mix. :bigsmyl:
