I've been on the list for another Habu bow (my favorite bow). I called Chris Cox today and he told me he had a refurbished Bacote Vyperkhan for sale, at a poundage that both myself and my wife can handle. I bought it immediately. And the best part is...I'm still on the list this fall for another one! I'm a big fan of sticking with just one or two bow brands. I've got an old Habu recurve. Ebony handle with bacote limbs. Not only do I shoot it more accurately than any other bow...but it's pretty. Well....i've put some scratches on it....but I would never sell it. It's going to my brothers son when he is ready. I also love the dakota built by Rick Welch but I raffled mine off for a P.B.S. member in need. Life is GOOD!
Cool! Very nice bows...
Good for you Jon! Congrats!
Need some pics when she arrives
David...thanks for your help!
Ed...don't worry...I'll have 'em up here. Overnighting the money order so I can be shooting it as soon as possible!

Good for you Jon!!
Congrats the HABU's are a sweet bow!
Good for you Bro, you deserve a lot of good karma for that "donation"...I hope it was well used.
Hey Jon! That is great! i can't wait to see the pics! My number finally came up, and i should be getting mine in about a month.
congrats, habu' are great bows.
So, I've had tbis bow for a little bit and have been shooting the hell out of it. WOW is all I have to say. This bow is 45lbs. at 28 inches and I am shooting the same arrow out of it that I used on a 55Lb bow,and it is amazing! I got this one refurbished from Chris Cox. It was a bow that he bought back from a customer and then sold to me. I saved quite a bit of money on it...so everyone is happy.
the habu is an awesome peice of gear , congrats on the new addition. :)
Glad you're enjoying your new bow bud
I see blood in it's future :archer:

Are you sure your not an exxon oil typhoon? with multiple africa trips and multiple habu's i just had to say that!! Congrats dude I am happy for you!!
"Are you sure your not an exxon oil typhoon?"

I love my Habu-top shelf indeed!
Yeah, where are the pics,LOL.
I had an older Habu recurve that I sold a while back. It is one of those bows I wish I never had sold. It was a few pounds heavier than what I prefer. It was a great shooting bow and in fantastic condition. Boy am I dumb for selling that one. :banghead:
Way to go Jon, let's see some pics of that baby!
Jim, nope, I'm not an exon guy! Just a union Laborer who does alot of concrete work on the side in the summer. Trust me...I'm broke now, and the big hunting trips are going to slow dramatically since I got married. Glad I did it when I could though! I'll try to get some pics up this weekend of the bow.
Yeah, the hunting trips are "going to slow dramatically", where was that honeymoon you just went on? :saywhat:
BTW, did I miss the pictures?
