I got to thinking about shooting clinics and was wondering how hard it would be to get someone(a professional) to put on a 2-3 day shooting clinic at the MoBoJam.
I e-mailed a couple of folks with the idea and got a 50% response with the suggestion that maybe I should contact Black Widow since this is something they do.
What are your thoughts" I want to hear the good and/or the bad. I'll try not to respond to any but just read.
Thanks in advance.
God bless,Mudd
I think it's a good idea but...this professional will probably want to get paid. Do you have an organization or individual who will pay the bill if there is one?
I know Rod Jenkins will do shooting clinics if you have enough people. But yes there is a cost involved.
The MoJam isn't until the 3rd weekend in July so what if folks signed up ahead of time and agreed to pay a certain amount per person? Or would it be better to just have the instructor give a rpice for putting on the clinic then leave it up to the folks that want it to raise that amount of money by a prescribed time?
I've never attempted anything like this before so realize I may ask some.. well not too well thought out questions.
Thanks!
God bless,Mudd
Mudd,
It's not a bad idea but MoJam may not be the place and time to do it. Most folks going there are not going to want to pay $200+ for a clinic and then spend two days of MoJam at the shooting line.
I for one would want to do the other things going on.

Whats the difference between a professional and a hunter who has been doing it for years?
Isn't the IBO trad world shoot that same weekend in Tennesse? If you are wanting to learn shooting that would be the venue. MoJam is about making...for the most part.
Yep we will be at the IBO trad worlds along with all of the coaches.
