Nice work.
Looks good. I've been trying my hand at knapping also. It was harder than I thought it would be.
Very nice!! Hap

Wohoo! Two point pictures for the price of one.
How very cool is this? Way!!
Cool Ozy!!! Thank you for sharing with us!!
Jeff that's "Die-know-mite"! You can send your culls to me anytime you feel the need to...... well....shut my mouth, cause I'd be speechless to have anything close to the looks of that in my quiver.
I just had the thought that some folks might start a collection to see that "it" would happen!!...lol
Seriously thank you both for sharing.
God bless,Mudd
Very nice Ozy. If I am paying attention, you moved from glass to stone in a hurry as I thought I saw your (first?) bottle bottom head the other day.
Is there a big difference from stone to bottle bottoms in working the head?
Again very cool.
Both are very nice points!
That is a talent clint. Very nice very nice.
Yes you are very talented guys. Please post blood pics when you get some.
Clint, I haven't seen many guys progress as fast as you. Very good work. Have you tried raw chert/flint yet? It's more demanding but a lot stronger and durable.
Yep, looks like you made your point there. :p
SHARP!!!!!!!!! :clapper:
great progress mate
fantastic head!
The obsidian is on its way Clint. Enjoy!
:D
Clint, I think the only way you can improve on that point is to tie it on a straight stick as thick as your little finger, as long as your arm and with three feathers on the other end! And 117 grs. sounds like just the right weight to fly where you want it to go.
Jeff, very nice point too, and I sure dig looking at the points you knappers can flake.
Clint, keep up the good work, and show us your next one(s) too.
(Woody, if you read this -- and don't mean to steal this thread and apologies to Clint -- but now I really want to try to make one like Clint's point this Winter. Assuming I can some day, can you "point" (sorry) me to something in TX P&W regs about using it to hunt with in TX? Thanks) John
Looks nice an clean no stacks ozy. Good one. Later Bob
Very nice work.
Those are awesome. How long does it take to make one?
Ozy, you have a talent, sir!
Send me one, so I can put some red dye on it!
