Anybody know of hogs hunting spots in NC? Either a good game land spot or private land. Can't really afford to pay out for a ranch hunt right now. Any help is appreciated.
Well Montgomery County is actually gettin a few hogs Checked in. I kno i saw a 200lber checked in several weeks ago as well as a few 125 lbers. Wait another 2 or 3 yrs n well be covered up in em.
Yea, I've heard that anson and them are getting some too. I got a couple guys that are wanting to go also. Know anyone that might could put us near some?
Late news last nite said they were showing up at Mt Island but sounded like they wanted them gone. Maybe a few at South Mtns also.
Hey Charles. Thanks buddy. I might look into South Mtn. How's Bill's arrow look mounted?
I'd let my BW go before I'd give that arrow up-maybe we quietened Bill down for a while!
I heard farmers in Johnston county are sick of em tearing up everything but i don't know how willing they are to sign out permission slips.I haven't heard of any right here aroung the house but if i see any i will be on pork chop patrol.
I was out on some private land today that borders the Sandhills game land. Considering the amount of hog sign I saw, I can't imagine that the game land doesn't have them too. If you contacted the Wildlife Resources Commission they'd give you an idea about the various game lands.
Thanks guys. I'll look into them both.
Charles- I gave him a hard time tonight about it. It still eats him up.
There used to be some in Caswell county but they trapped some there may be some on the gameland.LCH
Cabe, you were there,it was Bill's idea, not mine.I think I'll bring it to the banquet and post it up where everybody can see it. This might really get to be fun.
Hahahaha. You ought to do that. Let's make a really big deal out of it.
I wouldn't call it a hot spot, but there are hogs down in the southern nantahalla.
