Read another TG'ers post on bows you have sold and were sorry after and thought I'd open this to not hijack his post. Looking for my first trad bow--a 1999 MAIII 62" with serial# 99383 to buy back for my now 12 year old son. If you have this bow and its not in use; PM me and I'd buy it back. Thanks. Anyone else looking for a lost love?
Been there , done that. Hope you have success :)
wonder if the current owner registered it with BW ?
Oh, boy... done that myself several times. Good Luck.
I am looking for the Horne Brush Bow I built for myself while I worked for Mark and Sandy. I have the matching sister bow that I built for my wife. I had cut the lamanations and the overlays from the same board so the bows matched perfectly.
Bow description: Black locust veeneers, bamboo core, cocabolo handle and overlays. The bow is a one piece brush bow the original model that Mark does not make anymore. 64" bow.
If anyone knows where this bow is let me know. I won the Texas State Longbow Association Championship in 1999 with this bow.
Would like to get my Jerry Hill longbow back. It was an Apache 55#@28". Hated to sell it, wish now I had it back. It went to a guy up in Alaska.
Live and learn.

I would like to have my Dave Paxton Talon longbow,RH,64",63#@28.
Mine was a Fadora take down. Really miss that bow.
I haven't sold one that I've regretted yet.
Been quite a few that I've regretted not buying, though! :banghead:
been there, done that and it sucks
I cant say that about a bow but the 79 jeep cj i built from the ground up I sold to get my wife a wedding ring,Wish I had that back ,But i still got the wife. :archer:
I guess I'm an old softie, once I get my hands on one that I like, it has a home.
I have sold some, but to date, haven't regretted the sale.
My wife wouldn't mind if I liquidated a few.
Osage timberhawk T/D recurve. Sold a few yrs ago. Still regret selling.
good luck
I got rid of my ED Mikuta wish I had not but times were tuff not like they are not now.
Navajo II (3pc Recurve).
I had a newer style Bear Super Kodiak that i put snake skins on the limbs and a compass in the riser. The skin job came out real nice.Had to sell because of to much # after shoulder operation. It realy sent a 600gr. arrow out there.
The only bow I wish I had back is a Dale Dye. I put the Timber Rattler skins on it. Although it was not the prettiest Dye I have seen , It shot the best for me.

Ouch. I think I would want that Dale Dye bow back and I didn't even own it. Very nice.
Sold a bow one year at Cloverdale. Then got to thinking that I wished I hadn't and lo and behold the next year here's this guy I sold it to walking around with my bow with a for sale sign. Bought it on the spot. Later got to asking myself why did I buy this back? Sold it again and this time with no regrets :)
So, get this, back when I had a little money to spare I was able to purchase a beautiful Kwyk Styk... loved the bow, and fit me perfectly, times got a little rough, had to pay some bills and sold it.... about a year and half later a different kwyk styk came back up, got it, and same thing happened again, had to part with her... hopefully when I get my income tax, I can be back in the hunt for a kwyk styk that will actually stay with me a while longer!
Sold a Seven Lakes longbow I wish I had back.
Dave Paxton 1 piece recurves.
Bought a Little 56" Thunder Stick Mag demo bow from Jim a while back. That bow was a freak! Close your eyes and draw it back and you thought it was a 62/64" longbow. It was 45#s@ 28"s so only 42#s @ my 27"s I bought it when a had a tear in my rotator cuff. One of my rehab bows. If it was a little heavier I would have kept her. Only good thing is I know exactly where it is. Recurve50LBS has her :goldtooth:
