Hi Everyone.... Heres a little about me... Been Trad./Primitive bowhunting for 40 years +. I'm mostly into primitive bowhunting with stone points the last 15 years. I make selfbows ..but mostly get into the art of stone pointed natural wood hunting arrows. I have taken many with stone points including a great Ohio 8 point this season (Oct 29,2009) So if anyone needs any info on making there own "PRIMITIVE ARROWS" I'd be more than happy to help. Thats it for now....Looking foward to all your ????. Us "PRIMITIVES" are a different breed! ....Jeff
Welcome Jeff post some pics of your arrows and bows.Everyone enjoys pics.

Whats the easiest way to post pics on here...Thanks ...Jeff

Welcome Jeff.....looking forward to some photos!!

G'day, and welcome!
I too hunt with selfbows, hardwood shoot or cane arrows and stone points(exclusively for the last 4 years), pitch glue, sinew and pitch varnish arrow finish. I don't make the points but trade with friends that do.
Glad to have you here
Welcome
look forward to seeing some pics of your kills, bows and arrows
Shooting animals with primitive stones is something that simply would amaze me. It is certainly something on my "to do" list, but a few years in the future yet - lol.
Tim

I have a bunch of pics and arrow making info on my myspace.com/getstonedprimitive ... Check it out
Welcome aboard Jeff. I love the way you jumped in here. I am of the opinion that your offer to help others is a true sign that you're a "Traditionalist" in the truest sense of the word.
If I can ever be of any assistance just holler.
BTW, I have all kinds of arrow shaft material growing in my yard and the only way it'll ever get used is if there are others that'll use it as I "Hate,Hate, Hate to build arrows...lol
I have Missouri arrow-wood bushes, grey dogwood, privet, Japanese arrow bamboo and none but what little bit Butch took has ever been harvested. Over half of my 3/4 of an acre is grown up in this stuff.
All this proves is.."the road to hell is paved with good intentions!"
Again welcome!
God bless,Mudd
