This bow is a tack driver! I got a chance to shoot it before the final finish was put on. Feels like your pulling muck less than the 58# draw weight. It's going to make someone very happy!!!!   :readit:

David, looks like a real sweet bow there.  I was able to shoot one in the shop at Jonesville that the previous owner had made was real sweet.  Don't know that it every made it past the so-called prototype stage.  May be interested in the near future...got this thing about short bows...

That's one sweet looking bow. If it shoots anything like my St Joe longbow I just may have to get me one.

Dave, what kind of stringer do you string your new recurve with? Is it hard to string a bow this short with the static tips? Hope to get a chance to shoot it at K-ZOO.

I think he uses a Selway stringer. Very easy to string, I think being shorter makes it easier, but that could be because I'm not that tall.   :biglaugh:

Yeah I had a doe come through. She didn't feel quite feminine with hairy armpits, so I did a courtesy shave.   :bigsmyl:

Go Brett!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Most guys here probably don't know that the longbow leaning on the booth butternut and walnut when strung turns into a beautiful "D" bow.

These bows come with what I call a low grip.  Everyone talks about a bow being torqued left or right, well a bow can be torqued up and down, but not with that grip.

With the riser set forward it all addes to the most forgiving bow I've ever shot.

They are very forgiving Bowmania.  ;)  Like you said,  with the R/D in the limbs but ending up in a "D" shape when strung and a forward handle, you get a quiet and quick bow. I like a little more meat in the palm area of my bow but Tracey can make them however you want.

I shot that butternut/walnut longbow and it is SMOOOOOOTH!!  64 inches and 45#@28, it threw 2013's with a quickness.  I was impressed with how quiet that bow shot.

I kind of agree with Arwin about a little more meat on the grip. That being said, I thought that the small grip would be an issue for me since I was use to shooting recurves but I quickly got use to it and love how it points and shoots!!

David, Are you planning to make it to Denton Hill this year?
