Well I was going to post when it came, but can't hold it in any longer.
Spent 45 minutes talking with a nice gentleman a few weeks ago, Dave Miller. A friends recommendation, actually two of them finally convinced me, thanks Rod and Greg.
Ordered one of his 68" Old Toms, the way I want it.
Anyone who has some pics of their Miller Longbow that can hold me over would be much appreciated.
Dave said he will have it to me by my 55th birthday March 10th.
You got one of the best string-follow bows around.
Dave is a true gentleman!
Sorry, I do not have any pictures.
Gratz, I hope to see some pics when it arrives :)
Your'e going to be 55 again? How on earth did you talk your wife into marrying such an old man?
If things go the way they normally do I won't remember your birthday by 03/10/2010, so let me wish you an early "Happy Birthday!" and say I hope this is the bow to end all bows for you.
I do have my doubts though...lol once a Toxophilite it's impossible to become "de-toxed". Enjoy your new bow once it arrives and by all means post pictures.
God bless,Mudd
I had a 68" and it was a sweet shooter! David's work is excellent and i'm sure you will love it! I traded mine because 68" was just too long for my draw, but I will get a 66" someday.
Ken
Congrats! I want to try one of those someday, it's definitely on my short list.
Thanks fellows, except you Dwyer, and I did not order it as a string follow, I ordered the bow with his slight reflex to it, prefer them that way.
Can't believe no one has got a pic to hold me over!
this is a 'Sage. 50#@28" knuckle shooter.

Beautiful TWood, how do you like the non - glassed bows performance, do you shoot heavy hunting weight arrows with it?

My favorite bow. Tried quite a few and this is the one for me, Stringfollow 66" 56# @28" I like 55-59# P.O.Cedar 29" with 145-160 tips.
Just something about shooting a bow with a 5.5" brace height without the need for string-silencers. Only thing I would change is... get it in gloss.
Swamp she is a beauty, and I am getting it in gloss.
Wow, thanks man, not sure if this is helping or hurting the wait pangs, LOL
Well if that is the case. (http://i688.photobucket.com/albums/vv247/pukingguts/P1010715.jpg) Don't let the stringfollow fool you. Mine is plenty "fast." I shoot dacron only.
Nice.....
Come on Miller boys, give me a little, bringing it around again, another month and a half to go
My 68" 66#@28" OT has 1/2" backset and shoots a heavy arrow with the best of them.
A 66" 57#@27 bamboo that was bought used is very smooth and a joy to shoot. Draw length is 27.5" on both bows. Dave does a great job.
