Well on my second attempt at dipping and cresting I went pink. The crown is metallic gold and all the painting was done without a cresting machine. One day I will be able to get one. :coffee:

Be tough to lose those...freehand to boot huh? Nice.
Very Nice. I also like Pink. My opinion on fletching is that if my arrows can't be seen from Space, they aren't bright enough. I hate losing arrows.

Great looking arrows Tim.
I, too, like metallic paints for my caps. I have some silver ones I made with black hens and a white cock---Raiders colors, love that stuff.
WoooWeee!! Them Are SEXY and EASY to See!! I have some Metallic Spray Paint, I use Spray Paint for Crown Dip, and have been Seriously Considering making a 1/2 Doz. or So. Just to See How They Look, Now I Know!! My next Arrows will have Metallic-Ized Crowns!! :archer: Ya Did a Good Job!! :clapper:
There is a Good "How-To" Section on here about Makin' a Crester!! Check it Out, or Give Me a Holler, and I will show the One I Made!! SIMPLE!! Like My Momma Always Told Me: "Simple Pleasures Fer Simple Minds!!" Bless Her Heart!! :goldtooth:
i saw the same section on making the cresting machine, got my small motor and model train transformer today, gonna try and put it together tomorrow. Looks simple to make and i think i only have around $15 in it.
Awwww, them's cute. I agree though, they should be hard to lose.
I can see pink the best my favorite color! Nice arrow!
Pink is my favorite too. Great job on the arrows. We don't need no stinkin' crester!!

Real men aren't afraid to shoot pink.
At least thats what I tell myself. :clapper:
Been shooting pink for a long time. Take a lot of ribbing but when they ask where I hit a deer, I know without a doubt. Every mans favorite color!
You can really see pink, but my neighbors 7 year old daughter probably won't let me live it down, she says pink is for girls,LOL.I made her some 1514 arrows with pink and purple feathers, she loves them.I really like chartruese for my self.
Did someone say PINK!! Dang, Jim...pink on autumn orange with chartreuse nocks :scared: Just show em to the deer and they'll drop over dead!
I've really come to like pink. These are some Hatrick specials.

Man I really like the fades on those Hatrick, How do you do that
Pink feathers RULE. I take a lot of heat from my shooting buddies, but on the 3D course or on a hunt, they just can't be beat. I can always see them fly, can see where they hit, and can find them when they stray from their intended course. I don't get to fancy, just pink feathers on gold tips or heritage shafts.

Dave, when you have as little skill, craftsmanship, or talent as I do, you concentrate more on function and not form.
Good looking "pinkies".
We now have pink RW and LW feathers and pink wraps for all you pink fans.
Tim,
Now that's dong your market research and reacting to what customers want! :saywhat: Wish our government would take a lesson.
Looks like Team Pink could be adding more members...Nice looking arrows fellas........ :notworthy:
Breast Cancer
4 years ago my wife, also an archer, underwent a radical double masectomy and a further year of treatments I found a lighter 35lb bow for her and fletched up several dozen "BRIGHT" pink for her. I currently fletch pink in support of breast cancer survivors.
Jim. I don't know about "lack of skill." Those Raineman Strings look pretty good to me. How about a flo orange and purple to go with those shafts!! :D
Come to think of it, since we're shootin pink, we better not shoot together at the range anymore. Might get some suspicious looks.
Papa Smirf, I sure hope your wife is doing OK now. My mom had to have a masectomy as well. The first time I fletched with pink it made me think of her.
Stiks, those fades are really cap wraps I ordered specifically for this look. Yes...I cheated. The cresting is mine though.
I liked the pink fletching. It's highly visible, but alas, I have 3 feathers left of the big bag I had. I've got white and natural barred now, but I believe I like chartreuse and pink better.

Very Rick James looking, I like em.Pink is my second favorite next to nat barred turkey fletching.

I went pink once. See the pink arrow? I had a bunch of them one time. That must have been the last one left.
