I'm looking to get a custom bow for the turkey blind and would like to see what you are shooting. I'm looking for something dark, yet pretty if possible. Thanks!
sheepeater obsidian from black mountain bows would be the perfect blind bow
A buddy has a Bob Lee that's pretty darn nice.
You can see it Dark Archer (http://www.bobleebows.net/onepcrecurve_darkarcher.html) here
Hey Skip!!! Nice to see you in here.
Tracey at St.Joe just made a 54 inch recurve that is blazing fast. I got to try it out and was very impressed. For a short bow pulling 58@28 it was super smooth like a bow 6 inches longer. She could make one in Ebony or walnut
Here is their Facebook link for pics of the new 54incher.

Careful Greg......you're going to end up with another bow!!!!!!
Greg : I should have an Ambush recurve at Shawns bunny hunt if you are going and want to try it out. Drew
Maybe you could spray paint the inside of your blind so it wasn't so dark 8^).
Have a 48 in. Seigework Creatins T/D recurve coming with 2 sets of limbs with black glass, should be here next week...should be a killer blind bow.
Forgot my Timberhawk Strike 54 in. 49@28 w/black glass limbs, best shooting short bow Ive ever shot..
I have a Morrison ILF all phonelic that I use and I also have an RER CLXR. Here are some pics of the RER. The recurve limbs are Macasser ebony for my blind. Hard to tell from the photos but they work well.

I don't have any pics. right now, but my 56" Thunderstick T-Mag is what I use out of my blind. It has osage limbs that I have to cover with limbcovers or paint, but it is a great little blind bow.
I'll be using this little Black Swan Sniper this Turkey season.

Dude, thats what they make spray paint for. :saywhat:
You have to go to Legends Bows website---He has made a new bow called the Tornado. The black wood is beautiful and great for a blind. I ordered one and when I get it I will be putting my "mountain bow" in the classifieds. By the way Mike is a sponser here as well. He makes the tornado in a 60" model, but I like the slightly longer version and had him make mine in the 64" length.
Sorry about that, I just realized that Mike hasnt posted his Tornado on his website yet, I will see if he has a pic to post.
Peckerwood, what kind of bow is that? I like it.
Nevermind I read your post again and seen you made it, cool.
I've shot a number of 60-nch longbows, and some a bit longer, out of a Double Bull blind. More recently, I've gone to a 56-inch Bear takedown. Didi't have to. Just decided to switch bows. Bow color doesn't make any difference.
here is a pic of Mike's (Legends Bows)new Tornado bow. real pretty and functional. This is not mine, but you can get the idea of the wood he uses and the beauty.
