Welcome to the best addiction a hunter could be afflicted with! This is a great place to get all of your questions answered.
What Whip said :p
Don't worry, you'll have a blast!
As a friend of mine once stated,"It's a love affair", But it is truely a great sport and hobby, great people and just a fun activity for family and friends!! Welcome!!
Barry
Welcome and good to hear that you're excited!
You've found the right place! You're drinking from the source (and I'm not the source....I'm referring to the others here and their wealth knowlege and their willingness to help). I've learned a lot just listening and I learn more every day.
Good luck and PM me before you go out a buy a bunch of stuff. I have unused components strewn everywhere. Might be able to get ya what ya need for free.
 Oh no not again. It is not to late. Back away from the trad bow. :biglaugh: Welcome, and have fun.
Well, sorry to hear of your addiction. Guess you'll just have to learn to live with it!
To the best of my knowledge Trad archers anonymous has yet to be founded!
One bit of advice, keep your spending within realistic limits. Otherwise you may end up with as many bows as us which love to buy but can never seem to sell!
I've got 46 now myself, Hey, I look at it as a "Good Thing".
Hal
Welcome to the passion and the worlds largest enabler site.
As Hal said, clear out a closet, your gonna need the space!!!!!!!
I didn't even notice at first that you live in a great State! Where abouts are you?
Here is a link to Wisconsin Traditional Archers if you are interested in meeting a bunch of other trad-addicts. We have a convention and banquet coming up next month in Stevens Point. Details are on the website.

here we go again...enjoy ;)
I will give you 100 bucks for all of your other firearms. Believe me I should have taken this offer when it was given to me once I picked up my recurve.
Hi! My name is Mudd and I'm tradicted too. I have to confess once afflicted there hasn't been any record of any looking for a cure.
Pull up a seat, grab a cup of something hot to drink(cause it's cold out) prop up your feet and enjoy the journey with the rest of us.
God bless,Mudd
Let the fun begin. Welcome to the addiction.
Welcome and make sure you have a new string.
Theres no 12 step program for this addiction, you have this for the rest of your life! :campfire:
Good luck hope your don't cost as much as some of us. Welcome to the HOLE
Addiction? Addiction?! No, no, no. You have it all wrong. Addictions are curable. The Traditional Archery bug is a chronic, terminal illness. You'll be afflicted 'till the day they plant you in the ground and chances are they'll put a bow in the box with you! :D
By the way, welcome. I feel a little less "strange" every day!
