I got tired of chasing rabbits back and forth yesterday so I called my daughter, "The Woogchilde" and asked if she'd join me.
This is our take... back up.. her kill. All she could see was the ears, eye and snout.. ended up taking it's head clean off.
I'm still sitting at zero. I will have to wait now for it to warm up a bit before I can try again as the temps are bordering on dangerous.
Thanks for looking.
God bless,Mudd

Mudd, you godda show that to her boyfriend ! and then you will never worry as a dad.Excellent shot!!
Ok thats a nice shot but I'd have been more impressed if she'd have removed the hide and gutted it with one shot.Lol. Bet thet was a short recovery
Now that is awesome!
The pictures were taken with my cell phone in the field so I wouldn't have to carry the extra weight of the head. I had some old 4 bladed broadheads of unknown manufacture(at least to me) that I never had any luck sharpening so I mounted a few on flu flu shafts. I even modified a few of those specifically to be shot at squirrels in trees. I put them to the grinder and basically rounded off the tips and put a knife edge on it so it will cut but not be as likely to stick into a tree(very deep).
Woog was using the untouched but obviously effect broadheads.
Thanks for all of the kind comments. I am doing what I can to draw her back to the light and away from the "training wheels"...lol
I thought of trying to bribe her by telling her I'd give her that ole grizzly if she'd just hunt with it instead of her wheelie bow but I also knew she's be smarter than to fall for that because she knows she can out wait me and eventually the old grizzly and all of my bows will be hers...lol
Thanks again for reading and commenting.. She and I both love reading them.
God bless,Mudd
Bunnies need to stay on her "good side"!!!!
